Room Tour | the SMALLEST apartment I've ever lived in! | $1500/month | Hong Kong
I checked the Weave Living website as I am looking for a short term (2month) rental. They had 6 properties available.. yes 6 … And the prices ranging from 3-6,000 USD per month… What a waste of time
For the second apartment, the entrance is so narrow and steep. How do furnitures such as sofa and bed get transported into the unit?
Large furniture/appliance deliveries have requirements for entryway dimensions that should be checked before buying. Narrow ones like this apartment would be more limited in their shopping options. Apparently moving stuff through the window can be an option sometimes, but that has a whole other story 😅🤣
@@itsjeffandmel oh i see. Japan has everything thought out!
such a helpful video thank you
Happy to hear that! Thanks for watching :)
Gaps between buildings in New York is closer than apartment #2 I can deal with it 7:43
Jeff and Mel is the tea ceremony private, do you have any insights on how that may work if we book?
The experience isn’t usually private, unless you happen to be the only one who booked for that time slot :)
Really nice appartments 😍 with a few 👎
I just discovered your channel and thank you for the good vibes of your vlogs 🤗 May I ask you what kind of job do you have to be able to stay so long in Japan please ? (do you have a working holiday visa or a working visa ?) Thank you ^^ Take care.
Thank you! We are really happy to hear that you enjoy our videos 🥰 We are here on a work visa!
@@itsjeffandmel Thank you for your reply ! 😊 Take care 🙏
Hope you enjoyed your stay in Hong Kong!
Thank you! We had a wonderful time 🥰
the agent looks like a super model
How much is the Twemco clock you got? I love how you support local businesses. I will visit and buy too
The clock we got was 730 Hong Kong Dollars! It’s so great that you plan to visit them- they are very friendly and patient. By the way, it’s cash only! :)
@@itsjeffandmelMerry Christmas! 😊 Thank you for the reply and the reminder! Cash only. Got it! What a steal at HKD730!
Are you guys Americans?
We’re both from Canada!
how much was the twemco clock?
The one we got (small size, showing only the time) was 730 HKD, or about 93 USD!
Jeff is so sexy 😅
Cool vid! Could you share the prices of the clocks? Interested in the big one with the date.
Thank you for tuning in! The big clock with the date (just like from the movie) was about 1600 HKD from what I recall. The small one that we got was 730 HKD. 😊
Really lucky to have seen the mount fuji without the cloud, when i've been to Kawaguchiko. I could see the fuji Waterfall instead, Very beautiful and very big !!!
We were very fortunate with the amazing weather this time! So glad we filmed it for the memories! ☺️ Is the waterfall that you’re referring to called “Shiraito Falls”?
You make a great city guide and great videos every time!
Thank you! We always appreciate your positive comments. Wishing you happy holidays! ☺️
A really lovely Hong Kong video both 🥰🥰
Thank you! We’re happy that you like it ☺️💕
Oh!!! In HK this time ❤
Just a little break! Hehe, we’ll be back to regular Japan content 🫡
見招拆招,not 見蕉拆蕉。招是招數。
Oh no, big oooops! Thanks for the correction 😅🙏
Thanks Jeff and Mel! that was exciting 😃👍🏾
Yay! We're glad you liked it. Thank you for watching!! 😄👍
I was confused for a hot second, this is not Japan, ahhhhh of course travel vlog!
Haha! Hope you enjoyed the change in scenery! 🤭
What type of souvenirs do you usually bring home from trips? For us, we really enjoy discovering things that are practical and locally made!
LMAO one of my Japanese apartments had a Fish Grill and it really is a game changer not only do they cook fish better than anything you can also use them for vegetables, shishkebabs, etc
Good job, thorough and clear.
Thank you! ☺️
Great video 👍 can you tell me the name of the hotel
Thank you! ☺️ The hotel is called “Ura Kusatsu Tou”, and this is their official website that we used to make our booking: www.urakusatsu-tou.com/
Number 1 was the best value, nice and bright plus a bidet. Hope y9u did not choose Number 3
Moving to Tokyo in a few months for a year with work. Looking at Hmlet properties and wondered what your long term experience was like with Hmlet?
cute japanese girl in the begininig who is she
Our friend and realtor, Mika! 🫶🏻
You guys are the best! Would love a Q&A, curious how you guys ended up in Japan and what you guys do for work etc x
Oh, good idea! We might save that for a 2 year living-in-Japan anniversary video for something, hehe. 😄
My soviet era apartment is 32sq metres and has hall , kitchen, bathroom, and living room. So the apartments you are looking at ,are well sized.
One day I’ll visit :3❤
The first apartment while small, has a great balcony! Love the view
Thank you ❤😅considering living there but not sure.. one day!
Found out that it is best that women do NOT hang their underthings to dry unless you are on the floors above the ground floor. Some males take to stealing them if they are drying outside on the ground floor.

Hi guys, amazing video. Can you tell us the name of the tea house ?
Thank you! The tea house is called “Nishiki Orizuruya” ☺️
Many thanks for sharing, this is the exact location I am planning to go, would you kindly advise which bus company or bus link you used from Kusatsu to Karuizawa, I am keen to explore.
Glad this was helpful for you! We used Willer Bus Company: willer-travel.com/en/bus_search/tokyo/shibuya/gunma/kusatsu/
is it haunted?
Sure hope not!
Hands down the first apartment. Kitchens and bidets are everything

Does a flexible rental count for juminhyo?
Yes! It can be registered on your Juminhyo as your official residential address :)
Great video!!! I want to move to Japan and its nice being able to see what the apartments looks like
Yay! Thank you! We’re glad you found the video useful 😄

Hi sweeties, I would do the sofa with the legs (cleaning underneath!!). But it's your home, your choise!! Love the Kotatsu!!! So lovely and beautiful! You did great!! Warm greetz and love from an old (rebel), Pinkie
Hi dears, I liked the 3the apartment the most!! But to me the most important thing would be that there are stores/shops and others in the direct neighborhood!!!! Why not the furnished ones? I really want my own stuff ;-) Big plus: there is a deskspace in the bedroom in front of a window!! And a huge plus for me: it has 3 burners for cooking!!! It will not be in this lifetime for me to go to Japan, maybe in a next life??? Cause I really love Japan! One big problem is that I'm a vegetarian (for about 60 years already!! I'm now 65.) and I fear there are not many places to eat for vegetarians or things to buy in the supermarkets ;-( Maybe you know if I'm right about that cause I'm not certain about that. Lot of warm greetz and luck from an old (rebel), Pinkie
Hi Pinkie! We’re so happy that you watched our video and even shared so many of your thoughts. ☺️ We love Japan too! It can indeed be a bit tough for a vegetarian to dine out in Japan, but it’s not too difficult to grocery shop and cook at home as a vegetarian.
Really great videos! What brought you guys to Japan / what type of work are you able to do there not yet speaking Japanese fluently?
Beautiful
I want to see a summer festival in Japan one day
Thank you algorithm
