Just binge watched all your videos and have to say this is like the most realistic but cozy vlogs I’ve seen so far 🇯🇵
Hehehe, thanks- and welcome to our channel! It makes us so happy to know that you enjoy our vlogs. We’ll be sure to keep them coming, so please stay tuned 🥹🫶🏻
My girlfriend and I love watching your videos! They inspire us to get out of our boring small town in the USA and move to japan. Love the cozy and realistic nature of you videos! Keep it up! ✌️
Woohoo! We’re so glad that you both enjoy our sharing ☺️ Thanks for the positivity- we’ll be sure to keep making more videos! 💪 If you guys were to move to Japan, which city would be your top choice?
You should try adding 2 bananas sliced up in your curry next time. It tastes SO GOOD! BTW, I love your tiny home. You two make it look so big and cozy!
Ooooh!!! Thank you for the banana tip! I’ll try that for sure next time. 😋 We’re so happy that you like our little space 🫶🏻 Thanks for watching!!!
What a lovely video! The Kuusoogai Stationery Store and Petit Mura went straight to my itinerary list for next trip 🤩 Loved the area of Kichijoji but didn't visit those places last time in Tokyo.
Hehe yay, I’m super glad you like the places we shared! Hopefully you have time to check them out on your next visit ☺️ Thank you for tuning in! 💕
Love love Japan! Need to go back and visit soon!
Japan is awesome! We are quite happy to be living here ☺️
As a new RUclips myself that is going to move to Japan in March, I get so inspired from you and I love the way you keep your vlogs so engaging and entertaining.
I’m looking forward to see more and of course to “ steal “ from you some places that I’m gonna visit when I’ll be there.
You are both awesome! 🤗☺️
Thank you for such a lovely message, Emily! We're happy that you like the places we shared ☺
It's so exciting that you're moving to Japan-- which city are you going to? We'd love to watch your Japan vlogs in the future!
@@itsjeffandmel I will be living in Yokohama but I intend to travel around. It is exciting! 🥰
I am looking forward to be there but until then I’ll travel a month in Italy so that’s my first “ stop” 😁 Thank you for being kind, see you here! 🙏🏻🥰🤗
these vlogs made my day tbh, can I say that I found my comfort RUclipsr for 2024??
Whoaaa what a HUGE honor! Truly, thank you so much 💕We look forward to sharing more! ☺️
I discovered this channel a short time ago and already become my favorite cozy content, I love it so much, the way y'all make vlogs is unique and i get happy with each video release ❤❤❤
This makes us so happy!! Welcome to our channel, and thank you for writing such a lovely comment 🥹 We look forward to sharing more with you! 💕
My son and daughter-in-law have been living in Tokyo for about 18 months now. I love watching your vlogs and seeing your experiences there. We hope to visit them this summer.
That's fantastic- hope they've settled in well! Thanks for tuning in to our vlogs. Wishing you a fabulous trip this summer (it does quite hot and humid though)! 😆
@@itsjeffandmel They are! They recently moved to a larger place for the same price more convenient to their work. They love it there! We live in southern Alabama so we are used to hot and humid (not just in summer)! 🥵
Hola...me gustan vuestros vídeos de la vida cotidiana en Japón...un saludo desde Barcelona 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Wow, all the way from Barcelona!!! Thank you so much! 💕☺️
Looks like you've settled in well! The home looks very cozy.
Thanks! Glad you think so! There's still a few more pieces we want to add, but it's getting there ☺️💕
Finally ! I was waiting for that update 😭❤️
Hahah 😅🫶🏻 I need to get faster at editing, but thank you for your patience!!
thanks for showing us around!
i enjoy this channel because....
many decades ago i lived in Northern Japan, Misawa.
i hope you two venture up that way some day.
(from Oklahoma City)
Wow! Were you stationed in Misawa? How long did you live in Japan? We definitely want to visit different areas- as much as time and budget will allow, haha! Thank you for watching, as always! We’re glad our channel resonates with you. 😊
@@itsjeffandmel hi!
A full year. We visited the Cherry Blossom Fest in Hachinoe, check out the city of Aomori, drove all along the northern coast stopping in different villages, visited Lake Towada, AND climbed Mt Fuji for a sunrise viewing, visited Tokyo and the Hard Rock Cafe, strolled all around the city to Tokyo Tower. These were the highlights of my tour. I love the culture.😃👍🏾
I enjoy your videos very much. My friend and I was also in Tokyo for the first winter snow too
Yay!! Did you both come to Tokyo for vacation? ☺
Thank you for sharing your life in Japan 😊
Thank you for tuning in! ☺️🫶🏻
Always love the vlogs ❤
Yay!!!! Thanks for always tuning in 💕
ahhhh this was so nice to watch with breakfast on a cold morning ❄️ the curry looked so good! also that sauce you mentioned sounds a lot like the Umami sauce Kimono Mom just released-not sure if you’re familiar with her channel or not !
Thank you for tuning in 💕 I’m glad that this video gave you good vibes! The curry ended up lasting more than 2 meals 🤣 it was such a big pot. Also, we are fans of Kimono Mom- it’s so cool that she released her own sauce!! 😋
I continue to enjoy your videos style, started following while back with the whole Puerto Vallarta series and I love watching your videos. I gotta reach out soon to get more info on Tokyo, taking the family at the end of the year
Yeah! We remember you from some comments on our older videos, it’s really awesome to see you tuning in still ☺️ By the way, if you’re looking for Tokyo recommendations, perhaps you’ll enjoy the ones featured on our Instagram page! We’d also be happy to answer any questions to the best of our knowledge
You guys are pretty cool people! I had to stay tuned in haha
Aww so lovely. Came across your channel. Really enjoyed your videos! 🥰
We're so glad you found us! Can't wait to share more, and we hope you'll stick around. Thank you! 💕
great video! would love to see which onsen / ryokan you are going to stay in next week ;-)
Thank you! We're looking forward to sharing the onsen experience as well- our accomodation in Kusatsu really impressed us! ☺️
Nice I enjoy your Japanese life and kinda jealous that I could not be there and live there. I love Japan and this is my top vacation spots.
We love Japan too! Glad you enjoy seeing our life & adventures here- we appreciate you! Hope you get to visit soon, it's such an awesome place. ☺️ 💕
Hey, keep up the great work! I was wondering how you guys are able to stay on Japan for so long? What kind of visa do you have? I’m also thinking about long term stay there
Thank you! We’re here on a work visa and a spousal visa. ☺️ Which part of Japan are you considering moving to?
@@itsjeffandmelwait... you can live in Japan on a work visa and bring your spouse on a spouse visa? That's crazy. Usually spouse visas are for people who are citizens and marry someone from outside their country. I didn't realize you could piggy back them like that.
What do you guys do in Japan? English teaching?
Jeff works as an engineer here, and I used to work in healthcare but left my job to move to Japan!
which type of visa do you guys hold? we are a couple who is considering a Working Holiday (my partner) and a student visa (my visa) thanks!!
We hold a work visa and a spousal visa! Are you guys planning to stay in Tokyo as well?
@@itsjeffandmel most likely Tokyo.. considering that job offers might be in a higher quantity over there than in other places in Japan. also due to the fact that we lack of japanese language in a working proficiency level (i am studying the basics though)
Maybe get yourself a rice cooker so you cook your own rice instead of buying individual package ones, it will save you some money too.
So true! What are your thoughts on a rice cooker vs a pressure cooker?
It’s hard for us to decide cuz pressure cookers have more functions but are bulkier. We also see people online making all sorts of stuff in a rice cooker! 🤷🏻♀️
