Bit Case mod for low-profile Milwaukee Packout - how-to
Unbelievable that you have to hack them. Milwaukee bit cases are terrible.
Can the latch on the 2 drawer plastic latch for bar be replaced
Can you do a video on how to fix a handle that doesn’t stay up anymore please
Any update to the stair climbing wheel mod?
Thanks for your request, so far the idea was a good idea but very hard to turn with heavy loads, so for now we stopped on this project and the electric self propelled as well
Can you post a link to the parts to order?
Now do one with tracks
Milwaukee dropped the ball wit h their cases….Really Milwaukee????
How do you fix the eye holes where your locks go in?? I bought from homedepot about a year ago it’s brand new basically and one eye lid broke I think it came defective homedepot not helping since I lost my receipt I paid cash I love it want to be able to fix it ! It’s the 3 drawer module
you could use a eye hook and screw it from the inside
Great video where can I get the holder for the 2" bits
They make the cases to work in these now.
I use magnets. The cases can be swapped out.
Thanks for this Jeff. I love my packout but sometimes I have to drag my box across horribly destroyed concrete and across dirt/mud covered job sites. This is such a great help.
0:50. Info starts here.
Just got a packout kit for xmas and found this out myself. Went searching for a better option and you do it the same way lol
What about using full size toolbox with dolly and adding a 2 wheel cart
What a mod for adding a 5 gallon tool bucket to the packout?
How long is that threaded axle
25 1/4” nvm
also it will depend of your set of wheels and spacer mine was 25 1/2"
Appreciate it.
I don't HAVE a 17/64" bit. This case sucks.
well 9/32" made them it a but too loose, but still better than the aggravation.
Amazing! This war prepared like a cooking show with every step already prepared.
Estancia bien mecos Los dos 😂😂😂
I like it, a nice simple mod for a small step ladder! If you need to carry larger, heavier ladders, take a look at the “Ladder Mover”. Thanks for posting.
My cases don’t have that hole
Did the stair climber vid ever get done?
That adds unnecessary bulk. Might as well get Milwaukee dolly
any update to this? looking to add stair climbers
Please do the video for the repair of the Packout crack. Unfortunately i need your assistance.
Thanks I have the same problem. Good 👍 💡.
🙄 *promo sm*
Where can I buy the replacement parts? I need 2 handles, but the one that I need is a little bigger than those. ThNk you.
The crazy Frenchman , you are amazing Jeff lol lol
He run faster than my 4 year old.
Amazing great job
I'm interesting about the lights on the crate bin
Put a hook clip on it
Thanks, great idea and easy to make
Why are you screaming
Any update? Really looking forward to the stair climber
thanks for your comment, we are still doing some test, and having some trouble with the stair climber and the electric one packout is cracking or wheels braked and the electric the battery loose bar due to a sub power source
I’ve been thinking of a “trolly” design with the stair climbing wheels that could lock onto the original wheels and this came up on my feed. Great idea!
Crazy how you think of things and your phone knows
Seriously it's frustrating as hell how hard it is to get bits in and out of these cases. Feel like Milwaukee did zero product testing before putting this into production. Thanks for the tip!
Where is the stair climbing video on how to do it?
Where to buy the latches for replacement?
there is few places you could get them from here is one of them greatlakespowertools.com/milwaukee-44-20-8400-large-latch-kit-packout/
I did this today, but kept the original axle. The OEM wheels have a plastic bushing (5/8od) that's removable. It fits perfectly in the new pneumatic wheels and mates with the original axle as milwaukee intended.
Same 10” wheel? No rubbing issues ?
Nice job Jeff . Have you made a dolly or a cart combo for the 2-3 drawer units
More on the motorized packout..??
Thank you!
Happy to see videos again!!
that's why I pay the milwaukee premium, so I can modify all their crap to be usable 😆
Wow that’s amazing great stuff!
I just ordered a Stalwart portable tool box , it does not have to be unstacked to get your tools,, portable and light. I had the Rigid boxes which are good, but you have to unstack in a customers home to get to your tools. Am i missing something here?? . Whats the point on all these heavy boxes , you have to unstack them to go up and down stairs!!!! PS, yes a motor is good, but you still have the boxes shut, and you still have to go up and down stairs ??
