- Inflated Wheels Mod for Packout Dolly
Jeff shows how to swap out the standard wheels on a Milwaukee Packout dolly for 10-inch air-inflated tires - the same ones that fit a hand truck. You’ll need a 5/8” threaded rod, nylon nuts and washers to fit.

Jeff, a little late but worth the wait! Your Packout mods are so clever, well thought out, and clearly explained. Takes me back to my youth in the early 80’s when we’d look forward any appearance by Bob Chandler to see what crazy modifications he’d make on each new iteration of Big Foot, (the original
4x4 monster truck.)
Reporter: “That’s got to be the limit on big tires on a truck, right?”
Chandler: “Hold my beer.”
Rolls up with 10’ Tundra Tires
Reporter: “OK, but that’s it, now, Right?!?!”
Chandler: (Rolls up w/ an 8 wheel, 10’ Tundra Tires in a double Dually set-up.)
Reporter: (Blink, blink.)
thanks for your positive comment, we are doing this just for fun (brainstorming peoples) i just share my ideas and you go from there, because i know a lot of peoples does not want to modified because they are expensive, so for me if i screed up i can fix them (i am a trade plastic welder) or reuse them for and other mod like in this video, i reuse the base dolly with so many holes of an other mod who i fail
@@toolboxtransformer9735 You guys do a great job keeping your videos both fun and informative. I love the interview format that you’ve utilized. It sounds like you are both really enjoying what you do.
As for the ideas and modifications, they are always really interesting, clever and creative.
I’m fascinated about how your mind works.
Not sure very Mod is for every person, but people can watch, see what you’ve done, and select what works for them or adapt it to their unique situation.
Keep up the great work!
Thanks for this Jeff. I love my packout but sometimes I have to drag my box across horribly destroyed concrete and across dirt/mud covered job sites. This is such a great help.
I did this today, but kept the original axle. The OEM wheels have a plastic bushing (5/8od) that's removable. It fits perfectly in the new pneumatic wheels and mates with the original axle as milwaukee intended.
Same 10” wheel? No rubbing issues ?
Nice job buddy, good to see you back making clips! Give me a call to catch up on things.
PS - I'm sitting in my car right now charging it at our old mtg place lol 😆
Nice job Jeff . Have you made a dolly or a cart combo for the 2-3 drawer units
Now do one with tracks
How long is that threaded axle
25 1/4” nvm
also it will depend of your set of wheels and spacer mine was 25 1/2"
How wide is it? Can it fit easily through doorways?
26.5" wide yes it fit perfectly through a door way and it's more stable
@@toolboxtransformer9735 ok thanks
