AliExpress sucks!!! TEMU is much better! You couldn't be more wrong regarding the refunds... I know from the personal experience!
@@cinculatorgefufne6497 I’ve been with AliExpress since before Amazon sold more than just books. I suspect you haven’t had enough experience. It is also about the objective structure of each business. Temu also doesn’t treat their sellers well at all. They take over, set their own prices without negotiation and sometimes aren’t even paying their suppliers. Temu isn’t a company you want to be supporting regardless of refunds. Again, when you deal with Temu for communication, it’s all Temu. With AliExpress, sellers have much more incentive due to the competition between other sellers for the same product. That doesn’t exist for Temu because it’s all in house.
Thanks for sharing this very useful bike accessory with us. I bought my 2nd set of turn signals but like some I had issues pairing my second set with 1st remote. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. @@ABCdefGZER haha, I don’t need to see it. I own this and live in San Francisco with plenty of hills. The Aventon Abound never brags about hill climbing and is a much more capable climber than the XPedition. Also likely whatever video you’re referring to did not have cargo on the cargo bike. Testing a cargo bike without cargo is useless. That’s like lifting the bike in the air with no rider and recording the top speed of the motor. Irrelevant.
@@ABCdefGZER I’m not even sure that you are clear what the relevancy of your comment is. Are you trying to convince me that you should buy the XPedition because indeed it’s a good hill climber out of the box? No need to convince me. Get it if you want. Don’t if you don’t. Your selection has nothing to do with me.
You are a funny little beta male 😊
Like it or not it's the future..
I don't have an opinion on whether it should or shouldn't be. But it's definitely not. The only reason why people ride ebikes over alternative modes of transportation that are more convenient, harder to steal is b/c of the familiarity with ebikes. Most people know how to ride a bike but there's a bit of effort to learn to ride the other stuff. Parking of an ebike is a lot more risky than other micromobility products. No one really steals Onewheels and EUC's and esk8's mostly b/c thieves dont' know how to ride them and owners typically take them into wherever they are going. I wouldn't recommend parking an ebike unattended for more than 15 minutes. Benefit of an ebike is if it has cargo and you're planning to carry more than what fits in a backpack.
As far as EV cars being the future, yes for commercial purposes or ride share but we won't be seeing over 50% of private cars on the road that are electric in our lifetime....in America.

Great video! There are many videos trying to sell them and list stats. This is the information I was looking for, and helped my to decide on the underglow lights
Yeah, I found that annoying myself too and didn't want to jump on that bandwagon. Since the release of this video, Shredlights has upgraded their firmware and app which allows the bluetooth to be turned off automatically after 20 minutes for storage. This is a bit of a gamechanger b/c now we dont' have to worry about the batteries draining on standby. Particularly important on the underglow lights that I suspect have a smaller battery than the other headlights/tail lights.

Hello, might you know on how to fix a problem with this product? The left turn signal is not pairing with the remote.
@@avidlearner2386 Unfortunately not. I’m hearing about this issue from others too. I’ve bought 5 pairs of lights and no issues personally for me to address. My best recommendation is to check that the remote has battery and if all else fails, request a refund and find another seller.
I instantly regretted purchasing the barrow bar. It’s a solid bar and all, but it isn’t that great for an adult passenger. My wife and I will take turns riding the bike and being a passenger in the back along with my son in his yepp maxi seat. His seat has to go all the way in the back, so either my wife or I will sit closer to the front. When you are in the middle or further up, your legs hit into the barrow bar, making it extremely uncomfortable. In fact, it’s slightly uncomfortable for my 10 year old. The only way that barrow bar works is if the rider is at least 6’, so the barrow bar can be raised high enough so your knees go underneath it. I ended up going back to my old seat handlebar (which is similar in design as what they sell in the passenger package for the xp 3.0). 12:17
@@tylerdo4482 I know what you mean 100%. The bar is too low for most scenarios. I wish it was offset at a higher height above where it mounts to the seat post.
I ran into the same issue with the plus 1. Glad to see it work for you. When I was lining it up in the same position as what you have, the front two screw holes didn’t match up with the back. Did you have to do some modifications to make them align? It could be that Lectric changed the design slightly (since you did record this video a year ago). In any case, for the time being, I’m just not going to use the plus 1. Chair. I have a yepp maxi easy fit in the way back for my little one, and a cushion in front for the other kids. I might revisit your configuration again in a couple of years.
@@tylerdo4482 I vaguely remember someone saying in the Facebook groups that there was a change. I didn’t have to make modifications on my first generation XPedition. It didn’t look like it would work but I was so desperate that I just wiggled it in and it worked even though it didn’t appear the holes lined up.

I see what you mean, but I guess what I'm saying is that I'm not given my rides like some "reviewers" on youtube. The stuff I do buy, I spend a lot of time researching with lots of considerations. The blue bike i built myself 15 years ago. I just loved it enough to keep it and revive it. The yellow bike I wanted for 8 years. The brand Juiced is now gone as of a couple weeks ago. So it wasn't bought on a win. I had my eye on it for almost a decade. The white cargo bike is for the family. So it's recreation, but also does have some utility. Avoiding parking/traffic, etc.

@@Funcentric Hi, I bought two sets of the same lights from Ali Express. Long story short, I had to send one of them back because a light wasn't working. I got a new pair yesterday and paired a light to the right signal button but can't figure out how to pair the other light to the right signal as well. After reading the manual it seems like these lights aren't individual, but they are specific to a side. After that I realized I had sent back two right side likes by accident.... Now I'm stuck with 3 left lights and 1 right light unless I can figure out how to un-pair the left light and pair it to the right button. Sorry for the tl/dr but do you have any suggestions on I can pair the light to the right button? I want to avoid sending another order back for a refund.
@ the ones I got are not specific to any side. I got lazy and instead of removing and reinstalling the light on the correct side after charging and forgetting where they originated from, I just repaired it when I realized I mounted them on the incorrect side. Although a vast majority of comments have communicated success, I do have a few people commenting pairing issues. I really don't know why the difference in experience.
@ ugh, this sucks, thanks for the help. I think I’m going to have to send them back again. I’m just gonna send them back to lefts this time haha and hopefully get it right this time

Hey Illved these and I ha😊ve bought several sets of these. I actually bought 8 sets for my 2 ebikes. A couple of them go t lost from rough terrain, potholes, etc. As a result I have 4 remotes that I have never used and I also have a stubborn light that doesn't want to pair with the remote that Im using. Bike #1 front and rear work perfectly. Bike #2 rear perfect front only the left side for the front works. I know the method you showed to pair the other lights with the remo te bu t this one light just won't cooperate. Any ideas, can I unpair them some how and use one of the remotes I have never used?
@@cleoterrell8913 not sure. You may have to just experiment with different combinations of remote and turn signals. Not sure. If I paid $50/pair, I’d expect a lot more but at these discount prices, I’m okay with some having issues. Aliexpress sellers are pretty good with returns and refunds which is always an option.
As of October 2024 it seems that Lectric has reengineered the plus 1 seat to make it impossible to do the setup in this video as it comes from the factory. I made it work on mine but required drilling two new holes for long bolts and “stretching” or drilling out one of the oval holes that the bolt for seat pad goes through. Two hours later it’s done but be very careful putting an adult on the back with this setup as it feels very prone to popping a wheelie…
Sure you will need at least 500w for a fat cheap e-bike that you have no interest in pedaling, there is an argument to increase power and speeds in the eu, and vice versa in the USA But at the moment, no one is checking, or that I have heard of anyway
@@redsandokan yeah, as long as we are respectful and don’t do anything crazy to get attention, I think well be okay.
I'm confused with several of your complaints. I own an expedition and you have just mounted the front pad backwards, the tail light is advertised as a tail light not brake light, and you have a lot more range of motion on your handlebars if you just adjust both the lower and upper adjustment (you havn't). Personally, my front rack did come with all parts and I have not had any issue with the stand (fully loaded from a Costco run. I have the XL paniers and orbitor w/bag and the large basket on front). Concerning range, I am fairly satisfied with my real life results. I can make my Costco run in level 3 holding 25mph with 500ft of total climb heavily loaded for half the trip (18miles) using 2/3 of single battery. I'm not saying the bike is without fault but many of the items you are negative about are not the bike.
The stupid music is so loud I can barely hear you talk. Instructional videos do not need music....
I've just got mine today. I tried it out on one battery (the second one was charging), and I think the bike is unsuitable for delivery work; batteries don't just hold enough energy for long delivery shifts, even on level 2. I'll test it out more next few days, but I think I'll have to resell it to someone because delivery work was and is my primary concern. I did 23 miles on level 2 on New York streets (some of them uphill) and the battery had only 1 bar by the end. This is not a good result at all. Also, the bike shakes a lot on each caveat on the road, I'll see the suspension fork in the morning, hopefully adjusting it will help somehow. For home use, it can be a good bike, though. I used another bike with a much bigger battery that could last up to 6 hours (usually it lasted 5 hours on level 3; I had 2 batteries (second in the bag behind. I used to go on 14-20 mph (17 mph average)). I think I'll have to switch back to that bike. It's not as nice looking as Xpedition, just a regular bike, but it is good enough for delivery work like DoorDash.
@@Rustaci yeah, you don’t want a longtail cargo bike for food delivery. Much too big and not nimble enough. I also got about 20mi on a single battery setup before I bought a second. I was mostly on PAS 3. Half of the trip was with load and the other half without. Short but major hills. The bike is indeed intended for recreation and not commercial use. Also there’s no suspension fork. It is a rigid setup front and back.
@@Funcentric Surprisingly, the size is not an issue. I imagined it much bigger, judging by your scary video :) And it is much less heavy than I thought. My roommate's bike is way heavier. If it wasn't about suspension and, most of all, batteries, I would keep it.
@@Funcentric Continuing on the topic of delivery… Today, I did a DoorDash shift from 4:20 pm to 11:17 pm. I was riding at speed 2 (about 10-15 mph, mostly around 12-13 mph). The commute to and from the work zone was about 36-40 minutes total. Overall, I worked for 7 hours and 12 minutes, with 6 hours of active time, which is about the same as what I used to do with my previous bike. I completed 17 orders, which is also pretty normal for me. The big downside is definitely the lack of suspension on this bike. Overall, you can get the job done, but you'll worry much about food shaking. and drinks leaking
@@Rustaci yeah that’s not really what the bike is for but glad you’re able to get away with it to do what you needed. I’m surprised it lasted a whole day.
@@Funcentric I was pedaling the whole time (it wasn't too hard), coasting pretty often, but for the last 20 minutes, I really had to push to keep up a speed of at least 11-13 mph.
Hey! I've just got the Xpedition dual battery bike today and found out that it doesn't have any electronic lock. I should have thought of it earlier sure thing. Do you know any third party solutions to have such things on it? I mean when you just shut down the system and it just doesn't start up without a key. Well something like this or alike.
@@Rustaci nope that function would be built into the controller. You’d have to replace the whole controller. I would stick with a regular physical lock. You’d need that anyway. An electronic lock is more of a secondary lock. I suppose you could hook you a second switch somewhere along the power wire that’s hidden. That’s probably your best bet if you’re looking for something like that. You’ll have to splice wires and stuff.
@@Funcentric Thank you
Is it possible to replace the back light for a break and directional light?
@@Rustaci not a brake light because that is a function of the controller which this Ebike does not have. You would have to replace the controller with one that has that functionality. As a workaround, you can look for an aftermarket light that has a built in gyro similar to helmet ones so that it will brighten or turn sold red when braking. As for a turn signal, I have a separate video with a demo of one.
@@Funcentric Thank you for the quick answer!
