I'm all for a US/Canada union but only if they really want it. I think it would be a great thing for both countries to unite and form the biggest and greatest country in the world and I don't see too many negatives. I don't want them to be coerced into joining us. This is something they have to decide themselves.

We do need a bigger military, but the well been of its citizens and helping others in the world always comes first. I guess we want other people to have a safe place to live too.

Thank you so much for this showcase on our Canadian efforts to help Ukraine. I do admit that our country should adhere to the agreement to spend of its 2% of GDP towards NATO objectives but just spending more money may not be the best solution. Sometimes, spending it more wisely stretches what our country can offer for less as well as time (A commodity you don't get ever get back) well spent on training Ukrainian recruits along with other NATO allies to help combat Russians. The training is paying off. Although there has been 40k Ukraine casualties (allegedly/unconfirmed), the Russians now have to resort using North Korea's army to keep fighting after losing 100K (allegedly/unconfirmed) soldiers of their own.
