Our morning safari in Yala National Park was so muddy and crowded after a week of heavy rainfall. Most of the secondary roads were closed, so the main ones experienced traffic jams. Sri Dalada Maligawa. The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is the place where the left tooth of Buddha is enshrined. It's Sri Lanka's most important Buddhist religious monument and World Heritage by UNESCO since 1988. The temple is adorned with carvings using gold, silver, bronze and ivory. The city of Kandy is considered the cultural capital of the island.

A remote beach in Unawatuna, on the south coast of Sri Lanka. It is worth it to pass through the jungle (10 min walk) to reach this small strip of sand with calm and crystal-clear green waters. Around midday, we had some funny visitors. Just for lunch and some small talk around, then they went back into the forest.

Hello! The water in the area is 2 m deep (even below), it’s calm and crystal clear. If the children know swimming and they are not afraid of water, they will definitely enjoy it. For safety, you can use life jackets for them. In some areas, the seastars can be seen even from the boat. This place is amazing, a much better experience then seeing starfish on the sand, almost dead…

Thanks! It was the beginning of February 2021. A lot of images was taken in the morning (arround 9 am - after brekfast), but there are scenes from all over the day.
Have stayed here few years ago enjoyed it very much lovely hotel and we will come back soon

Hello, The deer walks freely in the courtyard of the Occidental at Xcaret Destination resort. She walks through all the areas, we met her on the alleys of the resort, in front of the room and even in the main hall, the one at the reception. You certainly can't miss it. Have a great time there! :)
