  • 🌎💚😍 Grand Anse - Petite Anse - Anse Cocos. The South-East trail on La Digue island, Seychelles. This coast provides gorgeous jungle paths and excellent beaches to explore, in contrast to the more touristy nature of the island's north-west region. To reach Anse Cocos, you can hike from La Passe or you can ride a bike and cross the island to Grand Anse and then follow the path for around 40 minutes. Grand Anse boasts stunning landscape, but swimming there is risky. None of the beaches of this part of the island have a protective coral reef, so there are dangerous currents here. At the north-east end of the beach, there is a narrow path that leads to Petite Anse, the next amazing beach from this trail, not so small as you imagine. Another path through the jungle and we reached the isolated Anse Cocos, the wildest beach on this coast. The sea here is rough (especially from May to October). On the west side there is a natural pool where you can swim safely. This trail is amazing and worth to explore it.
