Yes sadly, last patch Alderon pulled a classic Alderon and removed abilities, leaving its tail slot and voice slot empty. It should still perform similarly overall stat wise, but removing its tail attack is a big nerf. I’m sure this means Alderon plans to give Pycno an ability tlc down the road, but they always remove abilities months before adding new ones and I can never figure out why they do it this way

I’ve had resources really close to me not be marked, it’s just a bit buggy right now I think. It does mark you nest too tho

Agreed, and you also can't hold charge bite at max charge anymore :( unnecessary nerf imo

If you log in and someone else’s nest is in your spot, unfortunately your nest will just be destroyed. I believe there’s a “nest obstructed” message. Alderon needs a better solution than just deleting your nest though. Imo it should just say “nest spawn blocked, try again later”

Totally meant to include this, but forgot. I can't believe it doesn't attempt to spawn your nest at a later time and just destroys it instead. Terrible workaround on Alderon's part imo

it doesn’t destroy ur nest. It gets ‘stored’ at the same completion that it was, allowing you to place it down anywhere without needing to rebuild

Yep, I sadly learned this a few weeks after this video was up. Although the numbers are somewhat wrong, the positions hold roughly true. I also figured out meg dive in a conc comparison I ran recently. Is there a command for displaying stats of abilities?

@@Khanware theres the /getprop command to get the base number for Swim Sprimt speed Also applies to Swim Trot And then the /getattr movementspeedmultiplier that you do while swimming/on water to see how much the multiplier is affected by the ability and how it stacks

@@Sr_V2 I know those two, but I was curious if there was a command to see ability stats. There are a lot of abilities in the game that say “boosts x” or “faster x” or in the case of Meg’s dive, nothing at all. Would be nice to have a command that showed ability stats, I’m guessing there isn’t one

Nothing! It’ll stay right where you placed it. You won’t be able to adopt any juvie that is part of a family, regardless of if any members die. Family is permanent unless you decide to leave your family via the family menu

​@@EthanCD3107 No I don't think it needed nerfs. It was tougher to play as is. It didn't get a ton in the way of nerfs tho. It got an hp regen buff, and a combat weight buff. They nerfed its damage to balance out its new higher combat weight, should be roughly the same imo. However, it did NOT need to lose tail attack. That's a huge nerf

You can submit any form of food that your dinosaur can eat with its current metabolism. So for example, if you have scavenger, u can donate chunks of carrion and bones, if you have hypercarnivore, you can donate chunks of fresh meat. This also applies to salt rocks! So if you want to fill your nest with food quickly, build it next to some salt rocks and just bring those as your nests food source. 😄👍
