Naruto is pretty great (was my first anime series), but I disagree. It has plenty of epic moments and the power scaling is done well, but the world building and non-Naruto character building are in a much lower league than One Piece in my opinion. Thanks for stopping by :)

I see her as far more selfish and unhinged than Kaido, so to me she's a wildcard who will either double down on her hatred (maybe Kaido intervenes and talks sense into her?) or she'll come around on her own. I agree though, her story is not over.

Yep! I try to edit down to the main highlights and keep the reaction to between 7-7:15 in length. Any more than that and RUclips will typically flag it. This is the best way to stay within RUclips's fair use without having to resort to cover-ups and such.

Oh wow, I've never considered the Ace angle before. The internet is a treacherous and often horrible place, but it sure is capable of churning out some gold too. Love it. We have seen Film Red, but we may need to rewatch because it seems to come up a lot and we didn't retain most of the finer details. Thanks for writing all that out! It was a fun read.

Hmm, just checked his IMDB credits, and while he has been a few voices on Naruto (Saiken & Yagura), he does not appear to have been Minato. That credit belongs to Toshiyuki Morikawa, who, funnily enough, also does Hatchi in OP.

No reason to necessarily limit yourself to one or the other. If the card looks stellar, BGS. If not, maybe PSA

Beckett is local, so we save a lot in Shipping/Insurance. Besides, a PSA 10 is barely more valuable than a BGS 9.5, so if it's a truly good condition card, you are imposing a value ceiling on it by going PSA imo. In the end though, it's all preference.

They are quite stingy.

Indeed it was lol. We used base for a recent order that we submitted August 2nd or thereabouts, and we just got the grade results on Tuesday.

@@BillionBeri Dang I'm surprised they are slowing down a bit. Every time I look at the grading charts, Beckett is dead last in number of cards graded per month.

That's actually pretty fast. Base is 45+ Business Days, and we got our grade results in like 30 ish.

Yes it does, but I think we finally turned off all the motion control crap. I always center on the left on the bottom half, since the top half is thicker and juts out more by design.

I been thinking about sending my One Piece cards for grading but I wasn't sure what is considered the border on those types of cards, with the design change on the left side. Can't wait to see your next video and a video on that grading service you have talked about.

Should be an interesting experiment 😉 We plan to submit soon (going to be a bit costly, so we need to sell some OP08 first), so it'll likely be a video we can finish some time in October/November

See, that's what some of these old guard grading companies need to adopt...AI assisted grading and notes up front. The fact that we have to pay for grading a second time to get notes is ridiculous. I'm actually in the process of leaning on my cloud tech and AI background to create a pre-grading app. It might be an interesting experiment to one day send some cards over to AOG to see how good our pre-grading is against a grading system that is not as subjective as a human, and see where we land. And yes, yes they do :)

We are currently planning out that video! We'll be trying to give it some extra juice and be thorough, but we're hoping to release it within the next month, schedule permitting.

lol, it's funny you latched on to the Sugar remark. I very nearly cut that part thinking maybe I was just being stupid during post lol. I'm glad to hear Imu is still such a mystery, but I'm ready for D. not to be, so I'm really hopeful us anime only types finally learn at least a fragment about its origin. Everyone hyping up this next episode has us excited since the last few times that's happened, it has not disappointed 😁

@@BillionBeri it probably won’t be Garp levels of hype but who knows. Anything Imu and Gorosei involved is hype in the community. The manga is about a year ahead of the anime but I’ve seen that gap grow closer and closer every year to the point where I speculate the anime and manga might finish around the same time enviably. Idk how they would pull that off besides a massive manga only break…but that’s my pure speculation. I mean makes sense, you don’t wanna spoil anime only when the massive drop of what the One Piece actually is. To avoid that have them closer together in real time.

Interesting observation, and one that coincides with news Tasha read stating that the anime will in fact be speeding up. I think it makes far too much sense not to try to close it out at roughly the same time. The end of this anime will be the ultimate spoiler in all of entertainment.

Sure! To be aligned with how we handled the video, you would open the case length wise (so 3 boxes span left to right), and Luffy's head would be on your left. Then, boxes 1-3 are the top row, 4-6 is the bottom row, and then that's repeated on the lower set. Hope that clarifies!

@@BillionBeri Thank you so much! I am ordering a case of OP-05 tomorrow, I will try and see how it goes. Did you test to see what the weight of each box was? There were rumors that the heaviest boxes carry the manga, do you think it's true?

I've seen a lot about that subject, but I don't think it can be done at the Case or Box level. Pack level, perhaps...which is why everyone cautions against buying loose packs. But even then, these cards all have minor variations in weight, so it's not an exact science or anything.

Thanks a lot! We currently have another order out that is about midway through its turnaround duration that we are hopeful on. I believe we ONLY sent cards we both had marked as BL potential, so it'll be interesting to see how accurate/disappointed we end up being :)

Huh, I can't say I even knew that existed. I've actually considered creating an AI Centering app to assist, since either I'm awful or centering is their scapegoat to not give us back 26 Black Labels 😂 I'll definitely check it out!

@BillionBeri a lot of people that are good with Photoshop can use it to do a very precise measurement also. It just gives you more confidence after you hand measure things using computerized centering tools. Especially if you get an unfavorable centering grade back, you have more confidence if you resubmit that card for a double check, knowing possibly more about the centering of that card than they do.

A bit of a tough question to answer for 2 reasons. 1) we live near enough to Beckett that we drop off/pick up ourselves, so we avoid shipping altogether. 2) It seems like they've changed their procedures a bit. It used to be that when you got the "grading complete" email, about a day later the cards would be labeled and slabbed, ready for shipment/pickup. In some of our recent orders though, the grading result came in well ahead of deadline, but then it took a few weeks for the final phases to complete. So, I'll tentatively say "1-3 weeks after grading is completed" based on how some of our recent orders went.

Yeah, it's certainly difficult to not be cynical when clearly we are nailing the other 3 metrics with near perfect precision nowadays. Maybe I'll make a video pre-submission, where I grade the centering on all 4 sides, front and back, then submit and see what comes back. I leave room for me not doing something correctly, but with this many submissions coming back as only centering means either 1) One Piece TCG centering is almost never good, 2) I suck at centering, 3) Their graders suck at centering or are at least highly inconsistent between graders, or 4) They do engage in some sort of pop control using centering as the easy "subjective" metric to hold it back.

Perhaps you're right, but it's one of those things that seems entirely based on sentiment rather than hard evidence. If a whistleblower came forward or some other kind of leak occurred, we'd be fully on board. Until then, I can certainly understand where the sentiment comes from, and anecdotally it seems certainly in the realm of possibility. However, until something comes to light that takes it beyond speculation, we will remain neutrally skeptical in both directions.

@@BillionBeri the best part about Eric was the joke where Luffy kept calling him the “sicko” man in English and “pervert” man in Japanese because his powers were the “Kama-Kama no Mi” or Sickle-Sickle Fruit. So Luffy was confused with was he was saying by Kama referring to “Okama” or cross dresser and he was confusing the words Sickle with Sicko 🤣 Oddly enough in a way it’s like Luffy was calling Cross dressers sickos 🤣 Ivankov would be ashamed.

Yeah, they feel like they sit somewhere between Sanji and Franky/Brook in terms of power. None of them have really given us a reason to think they are monsters.

Took the cards into photoshop, extended the background to fit the dimensions of a canvas print, scaled them up using AI tools, then used a canvas printing service :)

Agreed, I like them being strict about how perfect a card needs to be to be classified as one. It makes it more prestigious and satisfying to get, and they wouldn't be worth much if they handed them out like candy. However, if a card is perfect, it should be graded as such, and not population controlled as some claim.
