Great video guys! Finally a video on Luffy signature Beckett 9.5’s are a scam. I sent my Luffy signature to BGS and got a 9.5 as well. I cracked it and sent to PSA 🤞 I’ll never send anything to BGS again, not only they do obvious pop control but also the whole process is a blackbox with Beckett whereas PSA is so much clearer 👍
Yeah, we've made inroads with one of the reps there and are slowly building enough influence to give real feedback about what we, and in general, everyone...dislikes about the service. Hopefully it turns into something good. For us, we''ll continue to use them since we live 35min away from them, so we've saved thousands on shipping and insurance by dropping off/picking up ourselves.
Awesome video! Like your perseverance. Maybe try PSA with cards you just want to sell and offset your spending. PSA is more lenient on grading. I wish you could have gotten black labels tho. BTW whats GCR?
Yeah we've considered PSA, but BGS is a 30min drive from our house so we save a ton on shipping/insurance. GCR = Graded Card Review. You resubmit it, then examine it within the slab, and if they feel it deserved a higher score somewhere, they will make the changes. If not, they give notes on why they graded the way they did.
