My Samsung tv is blue how can i fix it?

A big Thank You for providing this extremely informative video that has helped so many people solve this issue. I just encountered it two days ago on a Samsung UN50NU6500B TV. I tried every fix I could find posted on RUclips. Eventually, after giving up, I went to bed, and as I was dozing off, I saw a link to your video. That gave me the motivation to try again the next day. I followed your instructions exactly, and now my TV is working OK again. It's not perfect. There is a slight tinge of blue-green at the upper and lower left corners of the screen but it is very small, and only noticeable when certain colors are in the foreground. I was preparing to fork out 340 dollars for a replacement, (my MIL can't live without her daily dose of crime serials!), but, thanks to your very accurate guidance, all it took was quite literally a tiny sliver of tape 6mm wide and about 2 cm long, exactly where your video indicated.

Please do not change leds if tv turn on,show logo and turn of (3 standby led blinks). Its main board not LEDs. If you have a light points its a led prismat out. that methot is bad. do not dissasbly screen led panel without white plate. Dirt goes under panel and you need clean it

I did this with my TV. I messed with it for a while and it still ended up looking dull on the left and great on the right side. BUT....what I noticed that was weird is, certain movies that I picked on Netflix, the whole movie looked great through the TV screen. Absolutely no color issues throughout the whole screen. But other movies I picked it would go back to the normal dull colors on the left and great colors on the right. It was like with some movies the TV was auto correcting the colors by itself. How in the world did it do that?? At first I thought the colors looked great because I picked a 4K movie. But that wasn't the case. Only in about 1 in 20 movies that I picked did it display the colors perfectly throughout the TV. With everything else, I still have color issues. I'm just curious why the TV would almost auto correct the colors like that for specific movies??

Please does taping the screen belt burn the screen?

Do I have to open the TV? I have no clue about that kind of stuff, there is no way to fix it because I'm far from any repair center, please help

I cannot open my LG 43UM7400 back cover even I take off all the screws (5+4+1+1), it seems that there is another screw near the 'red light senser', but I cannot see any on the surface, could some one tell me the skill to open pl?

Came home yesterday to find one of our lg tvs was broken exactly the same symptoms, so straightway ordered a new tv then later last night found your video so i give it a try today and thank you so much it worked just as you explained, top work thanks again

Than you so much. Following these instructions, I got to the backlights to find that on a previous repair by a TV engineer costing £100, he had done exactly this and added new backlights to the bill! After a year or so, TV started showing the same problem so I was reluctant to spend another £100. Re-did the soldering plus added some wire jump leads across one that had been damaged and TV now working again. Took some photos along the way to remind me where all the leads went. Thanks again.
