Yup I kind of agree, but that said Vestel are not as crap now as 5-10 years ago, my first toshiba badged vestel went through power supplies every few years.... We bought a new one nearly 2 years ago, at 18 month the main board went faulty, toshiba told me to ferk off. bought a new mainboard for 12 quid off ebay, because with everything being so smd and software, theres nothing to replace/repair we've all become panel jockeys...
@@lezbriddon maybe you’re right but the failure rate is still high and they all have relatively low (minutes ) yes minutes, if you go on menu then press 4-7-2-5 kinds quickly you will see at the top minutes used (lifetime) then press exit to get out of it “don’t press anything else” you may mess your to up, be nice to see what minutes yours has 😉
Use tape to block clock lines on the t-con or if it’s a single COF there’s loads of info on RUclips where to cut on the driver board
