Both of my jumping spiders died so im here watching spider vids to feel better 😭🙁
So cute and fascinating to watch! I’ll be purchasing a blue and smooth from your site very soon. I’m in Tucson. Do you guide the Bug Walk/Hike thing? I wonder if I attended that.. would I be able to pick my beetles up in person? Same location/area? Thanks
have you considered selling some plants? they seem really cool
Hello. Pet Bug hopeful here. I would love to start out with these guys, but I think price wise, the Salmon Ivory is a better fit. I was also thinking about the Texas Giant Gold. I haven't ordered anything yet, but I am excited at the prospect of my new little millipede buddies.
How are the larvae gonna come out to pupate in this setup?
That was amazing to see! Wolf spiders are such good moms lol
When i was around 9years old, before the Internet; we had a bunch of friends ans family over for a backyard pick Nick and us kids saw one on a dieing tree. It flew off but freaked us all out we thought it must be the most deadly wasp on earth. Years later when the Internet became more common i found out what it is it's such a striking bug the first time you see one, that it stuck with me that long
Can you talk about their molting? I think mine is molting right now
I have one rn and i was searching how to take care of one and i now know thanks to ur vid :)
Found one floating in my pool at home and saved it cause I hate watching things suffer or die. Wasn't sure what it was so I looked it up and found this video. Nature is so fascinating and there's always more to learn. Like he said, he's being going out in nature his whole life and that was the first time he saw that in action.
Such a goober ❤
That is incredible. So many bugs!
Он похож на изумруд
100%
Does this diet work for regular garden variety harvestmen not a lot on how to care for them.
Finally after years and years of trying to find out the type of spider I had as a roommate when I lived in Arizona, I found her!! Thank you, sir. I absolutely adore these spiders. The one that lived outside my front door was pretty chill and sorta eager to be held, almost like she was excited to see me. In the 3 yrs I lived in that apartment I went from tossing bugs at her web to seeing her out and having her crawl up onto my hand. Which wasn't my best of ideas since I had no clue what type she was. However I was amazed by her gorgeous coloring, it was almost like she was this blueish grey color while wearing black pants that would go down to the bends in her legs. Anyway, ..great video!! and thank you for the info and help solving my 10+ year long mystery.
cool
Wow jealous! Keep posting! Lots to come I bet. More gold beetles please! 🤠👍🇬🇧
Very beautiful! If you ever find the time, I would love if you published brief scientific video essays about interesting critters like that.
Such an appropriate name for a glorious beetle! They’re beautiful on camera…and even more unbelievable in person!
More like hand hunter one bit me once
it can hissing
Awwww soo cute
The baby! I have a phidippus audax that I found outside on a peony. I’ve had him for a few weeks, and I’m assuming he’s in his in his 4th instar.
Weevil time!
How do you clean a mantis’ enclosure if I use sphagnum moss as the substrate? Do I just rinse the moss under distilled water or do I have to use a new batch?
Catch some and I'll buy lol
I used to have Madagascar hissing cockroaches but now I don have any more Madagascar hissing cockroaches because cuz my mom doesn’t like Madagascar hissing cockroaches anymore.😢😔😞❤️❤️
2:43 congrats you found it
10:52 oh you have a horse table ? When are you going to get horses?
@bugsincyberspace are you doing Sky Island Adventures again ?
@bugsincyberspace I remember getting isopods from you thank you soo much. I’m thinking of getting more. I got Dairy Cow isopods (Porcelio Leavis) with my Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches
fav!!!!! fuzzbutt! :)
Rad!
@bugsincyborspace do you sell these in the store?
Ohh this is cool Peter @bugsincyberspace
Hi Peter I love you You are the guru @bugsincyberspace Thank you for your tutorials you’re the only one
Wow, That bumblebee! ❤
Those are some gorgeous butterflies! Coolest ones we got around here are Eastern Swallowtails, which seem to like my yard.
Awesome!! I still want to do one of these at some point. I love caddisfly larva! How are keeping the DO high enough for them? They need a lot, right? Always find them in riffles.
I think one of these bit my grandson a while back . ( I’m not sure if this was exactly the same kind but it sure looked like it .
So lovely to see these Triops
How strong is its grip? Is it sensible?
Gorgeous
Do you know if Gyna species can hybridize?
What is there dung favorites to lay eggs is it human cattle horses rabbit dog ?
3:13 oh that is cool! We have Chlaenius species here in Australia. Never seen a blue one though! Awesome. Great video.
No way you just have Apache jumpers locally😭not fair at all I can’t order one here in the u.s:((((
Oh, but you can order one in the US. I put my website up in 1997 and you just haven't found it yet, I guess ;)
I'm curious, what kind of camera did you use here to record this? (I know nothing about cameras but I assume it's some macro camera/lens!)
But why is your pool an insect ecosystem
Not sure if you are using only a blacklight. A large mercury vapor, even up to 1000 watts adds to the catching. I'm guessing this was later in the summer.
Yep, we run both. Nice to see you here, James!
@@bugsincyberspace Haven't done any catching in some time. Met a fella in Abita Springs Louisiana who caught thousands. He's still at it Vernon Brou. Looks like you were doing very well. We did raise Cecropias about 40 years ago. Lots of fun, until the mice got into the bags. There is a local fella who still is at it in his 80's, Howard Romack. He traveled all over the world collecting.
