  • Been very busy lately updating guesthouse #2 for your Sky Island Adventures with us, and so I've not been posting on RUclips as regularly. Sorry for that. Posting vids here is one of my favorite ways to showcase our adventures with insects down here in SE Arizona.
In this video, Aaron Chambers and I team up to go look for tiger beetles. We manage to find a few and I documented a few moments along the way.

yes, but you can shoot me an email and I'll be able to take your order. The site should be back up soon. We're just working on implementing booking software for the the 2023 Sky Island Adventures season. Thanks Zhaki!

Wilcox Playa seems to be a great place to visit! From turtles to Dasymutilla gloriosa to tiger beetles…and more!

We'll take you out there next time, Rus! It's a most inhospitable place in general but if you've hit up some of the more reliable locales in the past, want a little variety for variety's sake, and don't mind triple digit temps in the sun for a few hours with a high probability of finding very little of anything, you'll absolutely love it! 😉

Such a good area for catching bugs! I think that you can try digging in the soil 😉

Not that I know of. A cloth sweep net might reduce the amount of damage though.
