Ok , stop apologizing about blinking and other stuff , you`re great , being someone who had OCD and I have beaten it , I say if OCD is the worst thing in the world , then the feeling you get when you beat it and get rid of it is the best feeling in the world , one should be looking for that

ya i have a million fears of being judged and when someone does, i go into a "mental shock" and my ocd, and panic attacks get worse and worse and worse!

This video gives me hope that some day I'll get better so that I won't be afraid of applying for jobs for fear of making a fool of myself. Maybe I'll even finish college some day when my OCD gets better.

You have a lot of courage to talk about the things that have happened to you. I have gone through a lot of traumatic experiences as well and I have a lot of trouble talking about them like that, mostly because I have trust issues with people. I feel like if I open up too much, people will turn on me and use the information against me in some way. It just makes me feel vulnerable but I know it is a fear I need to overcome.

I have a tendency to pick my lips, similar to your skin picking habit. My lips get chapped often so I tend to pick and peel the skin off to the point where they start to bleed.

Your skin is way better than mine. I never want to go out in public for the same reason... I always look/feel like a joke. Thought I had BDD for a while but I don't know. It's not about looking good, it's about not looking bad. I like when it's raining. That's motivating to me.

Oh one more thing..becuase of scruplosity, I cant have my meal as I strongly feel it will offend God if I have food without praying, it effects the way I breath, and work. Eventually, I start ignoring everything and get lost in thoughts which is another disorder "de personalisation or Derealization", Sometimes I cannot sleep for more than 24 hours, that too without having meal. I have lost weight and my health beacause of this, and I am still coping up with it.

In case you could get me few tips on Scruplosity, I would be grateful. In the meantime I will try to describe my experiences in a video shortly when I fix my microphone issues with my laptop.

Hi Christal, I have OCD since childhood,and I guess the severity is a bit higher as yours. I see hope when I see your videos. Thanks. Cleaning the whole carpet or washing hands because of fear of contamination is only one of the compulsions out of many. One of the major disorder that I have, is something called as scruplosity. I keep praying to God, thinking that I have offended God in my thoughts. It may sound silly But it has effeced my Life a Lot!

Keep it up girl! You are really making progress! I really like your honesty. It takes a lot of guts to put yourself out there and you don't seem nervous either. I don't have OCD but I TOTALLY get what you mean with the 2 minds. You want to do something but your body/mind thinks different and although YOU have the choice, it doens't make it any easier. If only it wasn't so extreme as to be OCD, you'd probably be like a kick ass maid or something lol. Or like Dyson and invent new technology.

i love him too now. lol He looks like either pure shihtzu, or a shihtzu lapso mix. Eitherway that is extremley rare(especially if he is a pure bred) for someone to lose him and not try to find him. You are truley blessed to have him! <3 I have had 2 shihtzu and they are incredible.

I watched a show on A&E called Obsessed and they did Exposure Therapy. It sounds like your boyfriend really loves you. And it sounds like he is willing to do whatever to help you and support you.

That's really cool you're going to do a therapy treatment for your OCD. I really wish I could get into something like that, but my insurance doesn't cover that. Good luck! This video was made a long time ago..I hope you are doing well right now! You did a good job sharing your story. :)

Just watched this vid cause of another one you made. Just wanted to say i have ocd over counting, and showering, and cleaning teeth, And i have to do things in a certain way. Please don't feel like you are the only one because i feel you.

Hey i'm 30 years old and still don't want to get help cause i'm embarrased. But one day i will. And it's because of vids like yours. Because you have the courage to talk about it. I count everything i do and it's getting me down. If i don't count and don't count the right way? Then i worry i may have made something bad happen. Sounds silly but that's what happens to me.
