so once you do that process and go to your hairstylist, do you tell them not to wash your hair again and they just go straight into the silk press?
Hi !!! My hairstylist always washes out my leave -in conditioner and any edge control I used for quick styling on my way to my appointment the next morning. She will wash my hair to get all the product out so it’s typically once or twice. She will condition or deep condition my hair as well and rinse that out … then we begin blow drying and silk press styling .

I love how you talk about how nobody have the same hair DNA I talk about that with a few loved ones. It’s something people don’t really speak about. I feel like there is some influence from our ancestors and what they used in their hair!

this treatment needs to penetrate your strands🤍 .. that’s why we wash our hair first, then apply treatment, then wash out treatment with conditioner, then apply a leave in 🤍… next day your stylist will just wash out the leave-in and any edge control you used for quick styling and condition or deep condition your hair …

i’ve realised we’re on a similar journey. i’m not interested in the gym anymore. God wants me to do lower intensity workouts like pilates and ballet 🩰🥹. meaningful body movements and exercises that embrace my femininity and softness is what God is showing/telling me right now. God doesn’t want me picking up a weight at all 😯🩷. All your videos have been confirmations for me, thank you x

Wow 🥹…everything you said is EXACTLY what God has showed me and I’m following …including the ballet 🩰 because I used to dance … Pilates reminds me of that and sometimes I have to hold back tears in class because I know I’m doing what my body really was has been craving an designed to do this whole time! Girl, in the season before now I was on a “get thick journey”.. I used the gym to get thicker .. it was definitely influenced by the culture… I’m realizing that God has made me perfect .. I don’t want to loose all my butt lol but my frame is naturally thin so I’m going with it and loving myself … It’s all new to me but it feels so right 🤍.. I’m so glad you connected with this without me even sharing every single thing . You get it because we are in the same beautiful place 🥹🤍!!!
@@Angeliquecharlette i’m so glad you resonate 🥹. i used to dance too!! and i wanted to do ballet as a child but couldn’t afford it. omg 😭 i was on a “get thick journey” too! but i had to sit my ass down and regroup. i don’t like how gym workouts make me feel afterwards too. i feel nauseous and in pain 😣. yes! the culture can be toxic and puts pressure on us to look a certain way. so thankful God rescued us and put us on a path to be the best version of ourselves and not continue to succumb to worldly things. 🩷 x

i love how you brought God into your hair journey! you’ve enlightened me on my journey as well. i used to wear my hair naturally in a short cut throughout high school but once i got to college i became more comfortable wearing wigs than my own hair. i’m getting to a point of wearing clip in curly hair or kinky straight wigs till i’m comfortable enough with my hair length. i needed this video. :) keep going with the content i love your tiktok’s as well! ❤❤

I actually just made this decision 3 months ago. I realized that I was starting to lose way too much hair, my scalp was starting to show. God made it very clear to me in that moment that-the weave I was doing was not worth it, and clearly my real hair didn't like the weave that I was always putting in. I decided to stop getting weave and I know my family might think I'm a little crazy, especially when those special events roll around and my "hair isn't done" but I don't care. God is blessing me receiving His message to me, and He has been helping this hair grow like no other. I'm thankful that He led me to do this and if anyone else is considering this, let this video and this comment be your confirmation for further encouragement. God's essence, His expression, and His glory shines through the way that He created us. We are walking expressions of God, and for us to distort those expressions, is unfair to Him. I pray that we all may exude His glory as we go out there and expand the kingdom, In Jesus's name!

So when you oil, you don’t apply any water or leave-in conditioner? How does the oil not dry your hair?
@@kimberlytadiwanashemhuruye9033 Hi ! No water. Leave-in is only used as explained here in the video (to coat my edges before edge control. My hair naturally starts to get dry every 3 to for days. Everyone is different 🤍!
I completely feel and have lived everything you have said in this video. I had a terrible attachment to weave and it wasn't until my then boyfriend, not husband, convinced me to stop wearing and depending on weave to look beautiful. I haven't worn weave in 10 years, and won't. It not only negatively affects your perception of beauty, but it also negatively affects your hair. Nurture your hair and it will grow. Love yourself through every phase

Hey you will be alright and it is not even a big deal for you to grow long thick luxurious beautiful hair, seriously you’ve got this. The moment you took the intention for healthy hair, the hair will naturally heal from its trauma and you will start growing out healthier thicker hair and take it from someone who used to have thin brittle hair to now having long healthy hair.

I was the one (or one of the ones) who asked about this on tiktok 🥹 i didn’t know you related to it so heavily. I’m not gonna lie; this made me tear up a bit, it was all in the things that I didn’t say in that comment ☹️ I actively try to not to wear extensions because I refuse to let myself only see beauty when i wear them but some days it is SO hard 🥹🥹 And it does boil down to not thinking I am enough or that my hair is enough & you getting that nudge from God to make this video is going to save me from a setback or two & I thank you so so much for your obedience, I’ve prayed for God to guide me with a routine and this is my confirmation to surrender fully and listen. 🥹 The overall message of this video is so so powerful; there is a beauty in us that is majestic and full of glory, my goodness 🥹 that is a word!! God is really using you. 🥹 I’m so glad that you listened and started a channel. You spoke to me in every way that I needed to hear. This applies to me overall not just with hair. i relate to this so much. i’m currently going through a phase where i just want to take extra care of myself. i want to feel my real hair, touch my scalp, real manicured nails, use natural products on my body, etc. this new chapter i am loving myself and knowing my worth. this video is confirmation. thank you. + my hair benefits from silk presses and does not like protective styles, it breaks every time. i will be using tape ins at first during my silk press journey as my hair is an awkward length atm, but as soon as it gets to the length and volume that i’m satisfied with and back to its healthy state then i will stop using tape ins for good 🌷
