Hey guys I'm Tara and I am a doctor of physical therapy and a yoga teacher. My area of expertise in PT includes orthopedics and pelvic health. I am passionate about health and fitness and hope to convey this to you all through my channel. For my fitness routine I combine weight lifting and yoga and will be providing videos on how I do this. People deceive themselves by making resolutions. New Year's resolutions do not make sense. Why only the new year? What about the new day? Life flows irrespective of our resolutions. The good thing about the future is that it comes only one day at a time. Today's agenda is the future. Make today a masterpiece. The future will take care of itself.

Makes sense. Did you know that on your birthday, if you write on a piece of paper a birthday wish-a reasonable goal such as- ‘I, (full name) will.. double my income’, then sign it formally with your signature, then within the exact minute you were born(which it should say on your birth certificate) you prick your finger and smear your own blood over your signature and burn the piece of paper and blow the ashes into the wind in the direction of your birthplace that wish will have a much easier time manifesting. You still have to put the work in but if you do this it advantages you step to into the timeline of your desired wish. Happy is he who knows the sacred numbers and dates.

It doesn't work beyond a placebo effect - anyone who tells you otherwise is deluding themselves or a con artist. Why they might be deluding themselves is the bigger question - it comes dozen to a combination of sunk cost fallacy (refusal to admit you were tricked by what is essentially a pyramid scheme), a desire to feel you are special (ego), and fear of the unknown (specifically the loss of control around illness and death). The same processes are at play with religious belief, the faith that apparitions are the spirits of the dead, fortune telling, conspiracy theories et al. The trouble is all of these things spread more quickly than truth on the internet as search engine algorithms are designed to show content that is the most contentious because that generates more revenue, the system is self perpetuating, more fear based "solutions" = more money = greater promotion of said content and on it goes....
Great Tara. The practice on the cushion needs to be extended to all other areas where you spend your time. Awareness must pervade daily life. Mindfulness should operate at work, home, and shopping centres. Mindfulness confined to the cushion or a practice session will be of little value. What you described is observation without the observer. In that state, there is only observation. There is no you in awareness. The beauty is when you are not. That state cannot be described. It is beyond description.
Yes , I also think that it's so important to bring mindfulness into your daily life to truly embrace this way of living. I hope this practice helps people to get started! 😊

Ocd bothers my spritual pratices a lot i can't pray cause it drops thoughts bad thoughts
OCD can be tough in that way. I'm not sure if you have tried ERP therapy but I have found it very helpful for intrusive thoughts. This company has many therapists that specialize in this if you are interested: www.treatmyocd.com/

You always hear that exercise is so good for mental health. And that studies even show that it can be as good as an antidepressant. I know when I go trail riding on my bike, I feel awesome during. So I recently I started a 5-6am HIIT class. Ive only done 5 classes in 2 weeks. My best friend warned me that her doctors told her HIIT can increase cortisol and adrenaline and make anxiety worst. Im not sure if that is what happened but my anxiety, panic and OCD did get worst a few days ago. What is your opinion on this? And what other exercises are good for keeping a strong toned body as we age but wouldnt worsen OCD. Thanks.
Hi thanks for sharing. I'm not an expert in this but I had heard that cardio can help with OCD symptoms so I'm not sure! With that said, everyone is different so I think you have to try things out and see how they work for you. In terms of keeping the body strong, I enjoy weight training.

I can't do the leg exercice as it pinch something in my lower back 😢
There are many different ways you can work on your sacral chakra energy so I would definitely hold off on this exercise and follow-up with your doctor or physical therapist!
Join gym and do dead lifts with light weights you'll heal
@@immoran9001 everytime I do deadlifts my back hurts even more and I have a personal trainer and he says my form is perfect. He stoped me from doing deadlifts until my back is healed. So did my physical therapist.

Thank you, I was having a lot of trouble with my ocd since I just got it this year. I think I’m getting better and I was doing meditations before but this really helped me and I think you make it really relaxing and a whole lot less scary for anyone new starting meditation.
