Turn an old, unusable film camera into a functional gem with the help of 3D printing! It is not worth buying any printer based on Bamboo studio or Orca Slicer. The reason is very simple, when printing with TPU, it is impossible to eliminate idle movements of the head over already printed elements such as skin or wall, generally speaking, the head flies over the already finished printing element and leaves the dive. Only printers running Cura or Prusa Slicer can do this. Everyone who uses Bamboo knows what I'm talking about, you can't set it and nothing helps because there is no option. Even not crossing through walls is fiction. Disaster.

To super glue magnets down without getting superglue all over your fingers, you've actually got a couple of different options. 1st: Use a steel or iron rod (like the back end of a drill bit) to hold the magnet and push it into the hole. You'll want a wipe handy to wipe the excess superglue off of the rod so it doesn't get build up Or, 2nd: I've discovered you can use two magnets of half thickness. Press one in, apply glue over the top and then drop the other magnet into the hole: it will flip the right way, and should self align. Ref: I've been magnetizing tons of WH40K minis. So many fiddly bits...

It finally took a crap and I dont feel like spending the money to get it all fixed up. the only reason I bought it was to fix my larger 400x400x500 custom printer. I probably will buy this as a good backup printer. I only need enough build plate volume for mounts, hot end holders, bed tensioner handles, etc. but if it can print other things effeciently. then I am definetly game. nice video Rad Dad. Built the wirelessly powered version for it's ease of use and clean look but the 24V fans were always intermittent. Boosted voltage with step-up converter and still couldn't get the fans to stay fired up. Tried a couple of different wireless receivers and still no joy (many others had similar issues but got it to work with different receiver but alas no luck for me). Gave up on wireless and went the hardwired route using the through hole just forward of the box along the sidewall. Designed a facade to attach to the bento box to hide the wires. Wired in parallel to a 24V power supply using some wagos and voila, no more issues. Going to design and print a housing for the power supply and add a rocker switch for convenience. Ended up being much simpler than I thought it would, albeit not as cool.
