I printed my top mount in PLA. After 3 weeks it developed a bit of a wobble as the PLA can creep when under a load for a long time. Please keep an eye on it, or print in at least PETG.
I was wondering if you printed the cable holders at the standard ratio or the 102.5% I'm reading about to counter the increased tube thickness in the newer models? Also was this the small or large size? Cheers.
@@RadDadsPrintLab It won't be a problem for PLA since a garage is a fairly open area. Btw forgot to mention, nice editing and good video content. I wish I had the skills and the patience to make videos like this 👏🏻

Im trying to remember if I did PLA or PETG-HF. I might have done PETG-HF cause I know my garage gets hot, but i honestly cant remember lol

Are you talking about the cable holder? If so, I used both, One on each side.

I want to print the top mount but now I’m curious how petg will work.
I think i printed mine in PETG-HF . Im trying to rack my brain to confirm that. But I think PETG would be fine
Is PETG-HF stronger or better in some way?

2:39 ABS is not necessarily stronger than PLA. If you have a heat-stable environment like you are using, PLA is much stronger than ABS.
100% , I wouldnt consider my garage heat stable though. During summer it gets well over 105 degrees in there haha
