I keep considering Bazan as a Tier X Coal DD (I already have Khaba ). The Capitani Romani class is intriguing for me as a naval history guy. The Paolo Emilios show up occasionally and they seems to be a one trick pony using a five-step method: - smoke - run fast to a juice target - torpedo the crap outta the target - run away and try to hide with the really crappy concealment - repeat Seeing a Paolo in front of me really upsets me these days,; often a competent Paolo driver can leave me with nothing close to kill Is Alvaro Bazan a substitute for such tactics & a decent gunboat? Bazan has better reload to the guns, better HP; speed is nerfed, torpedo damage is nerfed. - Basically, I am wondering if she can be a 'good enough' 'faux-Paolo' and a 'good enough' Gunboat DD . . . . The tier nine ship Niord has this interwoven design. Called a Fishermans knot or Trinity knot I kind of like It. And the colored stone Is mined over there Its called Conne Mara Marbel Ireland. Mass is my most played ahip, I love this boat. I just was playing her in Ranked and she’s been dominant. Ridiculous even. It’s kind of extra special too because I live near the museum ship and have been visiting her since I was a kid with my dad. You might even say she got me started loving battleships and naval warfare as a young lad.

The way I see it, your salvo in a bb is precious. Very few bb can effectively function as a 'dpm' ship which means that the legmod is only effective if you are shooting immediately upon reload and since that isn't always the best thing to do, you are throwing away the benefits if you hold for a better shot for even 2 seconds.

tl;dr: this mod doesn't offer anything you can't already get with reload mod without nerfing your (more valuable than reload) range. my issue with kreml's legmod is always that it sacrificed range, something that, ironically, makes kremlin more accurate at longer ranges than it 'should' be (that's why you sometimes get crazy slava-level shots out of it), for what boils down to 2 seconds faster reload, which it kind of doesn't need since it can more reliably survive at the lower HP levels to allow AR to put in some real work. Not having the petro legmod's downside of slashing off a consumable (remember that?) anymore is _nice_ but you're still trading a much more valuable stat (range) for something that you can already affect without doing so, and every kilometer of range in todays wows is valuable.

I dont like to reset any lines to get a LU. So for me its a big hell no 😉

Thanks for another great vid. Each time i see how great a UU is and the fact that I am research points poor. It's makes me furious they made the change. Grinding vs research points for UU. I know you can't do anything about that, but WG is so tonedeaf they must realize they are eliminating many folks who live in research points poverty and can't afford the great UU for ships like petrol, Columbo and now Kremlin. The only positive when you were on the receiving end of the detonation (on the floor of your house, your chair thru the window) was WG gave you some flags (before the rework). The new flag is great as i have 100s of the old flag. Love your updates Clyde your the best! I get a real kick out of how your videos come on, makes me want to grab my coffee and breakfast as i do with news in the morning :)

I was expecting Jäger to be the Manticore of WoWS but it’s way worse than that.

Okay, that was less stressful than I thought it might be. - I just reset the US CAs . . . twice. I had this video on while I was doing it so that I didn't screw it up! All of my Tier V and up ships are marked x3. I still have 219k Free XP. Now I have to start building for the next time. - One more reset down the road and I will have enough for a Tier IX or an inexpensive Tier X ship from the Research Bureau. Siegfried or Van Speijk, Hector or Colbert, oh my! Clyde, thanx for walking us through the Research Bureau Optimization. Watching you walk through it and following along made that process almost anxiety free! p.s.: hmmm didn't realize that I would get 10000 pts just for opening the Research Bureau . . . I'm such a noob. I reset it one more time, have enough free XP to buy up to Tier VIII, can play each ship and gain Ship XP and lower the cost in Free XP. Will have nearly 53k soon . . . - Okay, this was fun . . . gonna be collecting Free XP and doing this again in January!!!

I'm a little bit conflicted on the detonation mechanic because I agree it was not a very fun mechanic to be on the receiving end of. But it was manageable, especially when they still gave you the flags for getting detonated. Combining getting flags with the one-click battle on button is fine, and that would have been completely manageable in my opinion, but they decided they needed to go remove the flags from the achievement. Also this removes the random battles funny all-chat moment when the hood gets detonated by the bismarck.

Jäger is so good, I love seeing it on my team, stealthy and no smoke. Jäger players will spot and win, they are the good guys. Total contrast to Forrest Sherman players who are the worst people in WOWS.

Jäger IS a Benham for the masses and is actually OP A-F! People say "But torp Alpha is to low, cant do anything on T10 BBs with torp protection or Super BBs". Sure torp Alpha is low but then you have to realize that its a CONSTANT torp spam, torps that hits for cit damage, torps that breaks engine, rudder, causes floods ... constant. I would say that if the Jäger captain has skill he can pretty much stop an entire flanks push in its track just by kite-torping constantly. A ship of DD tries to smoke up and smoke farm? Say hello to my 12, 90-ish knot torps, that you're hydro wont even save you from. Also the single fact that it incredible fun to play and with all the heals you can make 2-3-4 mistakes and still go dark, heal up and survive. And the constant reload buff from Jerze has the potential with AR you get you're torp reload down to 36-ish seconds which even beats Kamikaze R at T5. You say its captains is under contract to play her, its just because its so fun. About 70% of my games since I got her is Jäger game. My best game in Jäger is 223 000 damage ... 43 torp hits ... in a T9...!!

Kitakami is so fun, you can drive between 2 BBs in smoke and dev strike both of them and hit targets behind at the same time.

Players use DD's poorly in general and Jager just amplifies this problem. There are enough useless Shima mains out there, not we have another even more forgiving torp boat for them to totally fold a flank byt not spotting, not capping, not screening for other torps etc. Torp DD's are the bane of WoW's.

Regarding Dupleix vs Elli: there was something about the missions that did favor Dupleix more. During the Dupleix vs Elli event, Elli's mission set had the cap/assist/defend mission. I predicted, when I saw that, Dupleix would win it because that mission is one of the worst missions to deal with. Cap/assist/defend is highly unreliable to accomplish, even in Co-op. It also cannot be done in Ops because Ops don't have capture points.

Jager is a fun ship but it's one dimensional. If you get caught out in the open by a CV or Hildebrand, you have zero AA and they will keep you spotted and you die. The guns are horrible and I just leave my torps up. Torps are of course fun but, damage per torp can get into the very low 3000 per hit depending on what you hit. I hit an Ohio with all 12 torps and didn't break 40K LOL....

9:00 Jager is one of my favorite boats. It takes one of the features I loved from the Halland and turns it up to 11. I dont like the sacrafices it has to make to get there but at least they also buffed its speed....

Jager is so a smash, I VETO both these absolute no skill (im being sarcastic folks, calm down) plebs who call the mighty Jager trash. The ship is a bit trolly, but, unless you are a skilled DD player, who can stay undetected, and, can get the most out of those pin prick torpedoes, you can basically waste a DD. No hydro, fast but many good gun boats and even Torp boats outpace you, basically a sailor firing a .22 pistol on the deck for AA, it’s not an easy ship to master.

Jager guns only against low hp targets or so. Still you should use guns on this DD.

I hope you don't cover all the ships, because you have 742 🤣

Hi guys, the reason why I hate NC are two fold, the first main reason, is that it has a exposed citadel, meaning that even 203's can citadel this thing as it has 165/305mm citadel armour with no real side plating. Meaning you can take all kinds of full pens and cits even when angled, and epsecially against any bb. The second is Massa exists. Massa is infiniately better, it has much better secondaries, faster turret traverse, MUCH better torpedo protection, its shorter and has a much better heal because of half the cool down time. NC has much betetr range, but I dont think that makes that much difference and the heal, heals a bit more, although I find the extra healing unusable at times. Why bought Theseus when M.Immelmann exist as coal ship? I really, really like how Theseus look and gameplay but on top of how they were selling her also comes consideration of how the gameplay would be similar to Immelmann. Also there's a post where you can put Cunningham on her and trigger the flooding skill to get bonus plane speed on top of your already speedy planes, and it's really itching me out wanting to see some sort of gameplay video on it or trying it out myself. Alas, I was very turned off by the way of acquiring her.
