12:20 you can see my submarine on the right side of your screen just under the blue rooftop building its the second boat back. absolutely love having the Missouri to see when going into work. great video!
Iowa is a great museum, I visited last summer! I think I missed out on some of the self-guided tour due to time (I went straight there from the airport) - I'll have to go back someday.
Nice dude, lucky guy to be in Hawaii, great weather and history. I had just graduated from high school and had a chance to go aboard the MO when she was still in Bremerton, WA. This was prior to Reagan doing his modernization, so no box launcher, all the AA guns intact. When MO was decommissioned a friend worked at the munitions disposal site, when 100s of 100# bags of powder arrived from her (by train). A single kernel of powder (the size of your thumb) found its way to me, one of my prize momentos.
Fab video. I've only seen DD Småland in Gothenburg, and while that was super cool I'm definitely going on a BB when I come across to the US next time. Would love to see the Missouri and do the Pearl Harbour experience some day but Hawaii is a looooong way from Europe....

Sweet!
Very nice to see. I visited the Iowa and went all over, inside and out (no tours, you just walk). Awesome!

She looks good. I loved being on that ship
Spent a little time on her in the service, did ya? What years were you aboard, if you don't mind me asking?
