Red Light Therapy Bed DIY
My Red Light Therapy set up has been so versatile, I’ve taken it from Red Light Wall Mount, to Red Light Mobile Stand to Red Light Horizontal set up, so a Red Light Therapy Bed.
My panels are Mito Red Light but,
I am NOT sponsored in anyway by Mito, every Mito product I've purchased, I paid for myself and paid full price. I DO NOT DO SPONSORED videos, this is not that kind of channel. I had basal cell carcinoma removed from my nose just recently. Do you think red light therapy would be good for healing where it was removed and help prevent any more from returning? Thanks

    • @lalahere
      @lalahere 2 часа назад

      YES I DO!!! My dermatologist, who doesn't know much about RLT has been SHOCKED at how fast and how well my surgery site has healed! He actually said he was going to have to start recommending it to his patients. And more importantly, yes, I do believe RLT can help prevent future risks, along with regular use of sun protection. Mine skin cancer wasn't in a place that sees the sun, but your nose is so exposed. Give Red Light the best chance to heal and protect, by doing your part to keep UV exposure to a minimum. You don't even need to go with a full body set up like mine to get the benefits, you could start with just one of the smaller panels, just make sure you using a well known, well tested brand. Mine are Mito Red Light, but there are a few that are just as good, although not as affordable. I'd love to hear if you give red light a try. I wish the best of health, Lala

    Thank you for making these. I searched "red light therapy CLL" and you came up. I was recently diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia and concerned my red light panel could be making things worse. I realize you have a completely different type of cancer, but you've given me confidence that it won't hurt anything and could possibly help a bit to continue.

      Nancy, you're just the kind of person I was hoping would see my Red Light cancer videos❣️ I know exactly how you feel, had I know I had skin cancer, I probably would have been afraid and stopped, thinking I was doing the safe thing. Especially since it's so hard to get a doctor to talk about Red Light Therapy. They either are uninformed, don't want to take the time to red up on it, or just think it couldn't possibly be as good as it is. I get it, it is hard to believe. And maybe it's not a cure, but I can say from experience... it sure as heck didn't make things worse! I don't think anyone or any doctor could get me to stop at this point. Although none has said I should stop. In fact, they're all saying I shouldn't change a thing! Thank you so much for your comment and I wish you the best of health❣️ Lala

      @@lalahere Thank you for such a detailed reply! My numbers were down just a bit when I went in for my first meeting with the oncologist last week. I've also started eating almost completely clean, so that could be contributing, but I have to wonder if the red light had something to do with it. I asked the doctor if it was safe to use the panel, and he just looked at me blankly. He had no idea what I was talking about! I have an appointment next week to have a spot checked under my right breast that I am fairly sure is a melanoma. It looks suspicious to me. I think I'm going to target my red light at that area, as well, and see what happens. Wouldn't have even occurred to me to try this if I hadn't seen your video. thanks again!

      So glad you asked, I really need to include this information in my upcoming 3 years of RLT video. But let me tell you here, so you don't have to wait for the video. For a few days, I did 10 minutes a day, just to make sure I had no ill effects, but then quickly went right into my regular routine of 20 minutes a day. Then and to this day, my daily session are 10 mins facing the panels and 10 with my back to the panels. My lower panels are always set to Near Infrared (NIR), but the three that go around my face are only set to NIR when my back is to the panels. Recently though, I've occasionally been trying out the 3 face framing panels on NIF, when facing the panels too. I think I need to do full NIF on both sides for a few weeks at least before I can say if I've seen any difference. Hopefully be able to talk a little about that in the next red light video. Thanks so much for your question, Lala

    I tried your approach and was hoping it would be my solution. It wasn't. I woke up in a panic 1 hour after going to sleep. I placed my finger into my mouth and it was gone. Then I felt something in my throat and started to cough up. I thought I swallowed it. That would put anyone into a panic. I turned the light on and it was next to my pillow. Talk about relief! I've tried it twice with two different sized pieces and both lasted about 1 hour before being expelled. The second one I made was much wider than the first as I was thinking it would stay in better, but that one came out also. .

    • @lalahere
      @lalahere 4 часа назад

      I wish I could go back and edit that video, to tell people about the safety strap I came up with. I've only heard from a few people, that they were able to blow it out, which is why I felt the need to come up with a strap. Personally, I've been wearing my for more than 3 years with no issues, but for anyone who's come out I hope you'll consider trying the safety strap before giving up. If not, I totally understand and wish you best in your efforts to get a good nights sleep and all the many health benefits of mouth taping, Lala

    I have my own little infra red anecdote, for what's worth. Reminding that anecdotal evidence is the weakest form of evidence but not entirely no evidence as it can often suggest further lines of scientific inquiry that may yet be fruitful. I have glaucoma in my left eye only. I've recently noticed reports of studies on infra red therapy showing benefit for macular degeneration - which is another eye condition afflicting older eyes. I also noticed other research showing a general benefit for infra red therapy on nerve healing and regeneration. Meanwhile, I'm aware that glaucoma is an issue with eye pressure afflicting the optic nerve. So I wondered what infra red light might do for glaucoma. I proceeded to apply infra red light to my eyes, eyes shut and under mask, for only a few minutes at a time. The research on infra red for glaucoma specifically remains yet to be conducted but I went ahead anyway. After a few weeks it was time for a new field vision test with my eye doctor. The results came back as a noticeable improvement from my previous test. I then informed my eye doctor about my little experiment with infra red and he very quickly changed the subject saying, "Oh well, I don't know anything about that." Doctors are often reluctant to discuss therapies that fall outside standard of care as it could potentially get them into trouble with their medical boards.

      Wow, that's great to hear and honestly I'm not surprised that you had a marked improvement. I think I'm going to get my old eye exam records and see if an issue I've had can be documented, so I can talk about it in my upcoming 3 Years of RLT video. Is it ok if I mention your comment? Oh and also not surprised at the response from your doctor either. I get that same response from doctors who are hesitant to give red light the credit for anything. That's been a little frustrating, but it only makes me want to share my story more, so thanks so much for sharing yours!!! I'd love to hear how things progress for you, Lala

      Hi, glad you asked. Here’s the full scoop on my red light sessions. I do one 20 minute red light session nearly every day. I used both Red (R) and Near-infrared (NIR) in the areas where I want maximum depth of RLT, which is my neck, spine, muscles and joints. The only area I use just infrared is my face, because I don’t feel like I need to go as deep there, since I’m just trying to improve my skin tone and texture, which it seems to be doing a great job of! Half of my session (10 mins.) is with my back to the panels, with all panels set to Red & NIR. Facing the panels, for the second half of(10 mins.) I switch the three smaller top panels to JUST Red. My overhead mini panel is always set the same as the three upper face panels, so 10 mins. on both R & NIR and 10 mins. on just R. I’ve try changing things up a few times, but I feel like these settings give me the best results. Thanks for giving me a chance to clarify with your question. Lala

    Thank you for sharing this Lala. I was diagnosed with stage 1 Er+ Pr positive breast cancer. I went through a partial mastectomy, radiation and just completed a 5 yr estrogen suppressant drug therapy. I have been wanting to use RLT for the past 2-3 years. My cancer surgeon told me it wouldn’t do any good and yet it wouldn’t hurt me. I did read some info on the internet that said RLT could kill cancer cells while other info said it would cause cancer growth. So, I have not yet purchased a panel bc of the contradictions in information. Now, after hearing your story, I think it would be beneficial for me to try it. I’m hoping to keep my cancer gone for good even though breast cancer is considered incurable. I also had a benign brain tumor removed 2 years ago and am hoping that RLT can be beneficial in my road to healing from that as well. So, thank you for sharing your story and giving me a positive boost forward to start my RLT journey. ❤

      @@lalahere I have been researching RLT for the past 2+ years. I’m trying to decide between the Mitored Adapt, ROJO and Biomax. I keep up with the Alex Ferguson videos but just can’t seem to make up my mind. And then yesterday I just saw a video by the woman who makes Mayasama products and has her own line of RLT devices. She stated that she cannot say if RLT would be good for breast cancer patient bc RLT activates cells and that it may stimulate cancer cell growth. But you, Lala, are living proof it made a positive difference for you. I do believe that different treatments work differently on each individual. So, I will just have to try it and see for myself.

    How does this keep your mouth closed while sleeping? Thank you! 🙏

    • @lalahere
      @lalahere 2 месяца назад

      Once it's in place, as long as you haven't made it too small, it kind of suctions in place once you swallow. If you open your mouth wide, you'll break the seal. It won't fall out and as soon as you swallow again, it's seals right back up. While it won't fall out, you can push it out with your tongue. I can't remember if that was one of the questions I answered in the Q&A video. ruclips.net/video/VrTOOHgl2bg/видео.html If not, I'll be sure to make it one of the questions for the next Q&A video. How often and for how long do you use the red light therapy? Do you use red light and infrared together? Thank you

    • @lalahere
      @lalahere 2 месяца назад

      I do a red light session nearly every day, using both infrared and near-infrared. In the areas where I want maximum depth of RLT, which is my neck, spine, muscles and joints I use near infrared. The only area I use just infrared is my face, because I didn't feel like I needed to go as deep there, since I’m just trying to improve my skin tone and texture, which it seems to be doing a great job of! Currently, with my back to the panels, all panels are set to R & NIR. When I’m facing the panels, the two lower body panels are still both R & NIR but the three smaller top panels are set to JUST Red. My mini overhead panel is always set to R & NIR. I think I'm going to trying doing both for a while to see if it makes any difference, before doing my next Red Light Review video. Thanks for your question, Lala

    How much water do you use for the Premier Protein? I just found your video when searching can you heat up premier protein.

    • @lalahere
      @lalahere 2 месяца назад

      I was never able to get the Premier to be creamy enough for me, although adding hazelnut creamer helped. For some reason Hazelnut tastes better than caramel. I'm having a hard time finding the Slimfast Cafe Latte flavor I like, so I'm working making a dupe myself. They use to have 15 packs at Sam's Club for a great price and now I can only find 4 packs and they're too expensive now. Lala

    Was this a used red light mobile stand or a tv stand?

    • @lalahere
      @lalahere 2 месяца назад

      The one I bought was a used tv stand that happened to look just like red light stands I've seen online. I just finished turning my set up into a hormonal stand, to do my RLT laying down so I can do the bottom of my feet at the same time. Red light is great for Plantar Fasciitis. Lala

      I use Mito Red Lights. In my review and set up videos, I talk about my panels. I do red light nearly everyday 10 mins facing my set-up and 10 mins with my back to the panels. I have a link to the Mito brand light in the description with a discount code, but I'm not sponsored in any way by Mito or any other red light therapy product. I based my choice of red light on tests done by Alex Fergus, here on RUclips. Lala

    Which brand was the inferior one that you mentioned at the beginning of the video

    • @lalahere
      @lalahere 2 месяца назад

      I bought it on Amazon, the description said the brand was Allisable - 45W Red LED Light Therapy Panel, Deep Red 660nm and Near Infrared 850nm LED Light Therapy Combo - FDA Registered. But it came in a plain cardboard box with no name branding. It did absolutely nothing and was a huge waste of time. I can only recommend Mito Red because that's the one I use and it's been amazing for me. If you want to know more about different brands, I suggest going to Alex Fergus' channel here on RUclips. He reviews everything red light. I went with Mito based on information from his massive testing. Thanks for your question, Lala

    Hello how long after drinking the protein you eat breakfast

    • @lalahere
      @lalahere 3 месяца назад

      Because I do intermittent fasting, I don't eat breakfast. I fast until 1pm, when I break my fast with my caramel latte protein shake. My sister started intermittent fasting, but she loves breakfast, so her eating schedule is very different than mine. I still love my shake so much after 3 years. I don't think I'll ever give it up. I'm going to be working on making a new version though, since the cost has gone up so much and this flavor is getting harder and harder to find. Right now the only place I'm finding it (that I trust) is Walmart and the SlimFast website. It's cheaper at Walmart, so I buy it there. If I'm able to make figure out how to make a caramel coffee protein shake that tastes even close to the silmfast one, I'll definitely be making a video about it, so be on the look out for that. Lala

      If I hadn't been doing red light therapy, I'm sure my skin cancer would have been able to progress to the point of needing chemo. Since it never progressed AT ALL after starting red light, I didn't end up needing radiation or chemo. Thanks so much for your question, Lala
