@@natalieliavaa1684 Hi Natalie, Great question. As I go there so often, I stay at different resorts for different occasions. For the absolute best resort that is close to the Airport is the Crowne Plaza resort. I use ths resort when I need to be closer to the airport for flights. For the perfect luxury stay I generally stay at the Sheraton Fiji Resort (for either work or a family holiday). For a relaxing stay that is further away from the airport I stay at Double Tree by Hilton. For a complete alternative, I stay at the Hilton Fiji Resort. It is great to know that now there is a fantadtic resort in Nadi Bay really close to the airport with the supermarket and extra restaurant close by. There is also a brand new italian restaurant that was opening up the week after I was there. I love where I always stay in Fiji but this is now definitely my go-to airport hotel/resort while I'm there. I hope you've been really well!

To be honest, I generally travel with only carry on luggage as I tend to do very quick, short trips so I have not been through Singapore for years with checked luggage. However, the last time I did have checked luggage but was staying at an airport hotel in transit, I actually packed a change of clothes and everything I needed for 1 night at the airport in my carry on bag so I didn't need to worry about my checked luggage while I was in transit. @@ipereira7 Hi there, This was the Large Oceanfront Double King room (villas/bures). All the rooms have views of the oceanfront, however the standard bures are set back a bit, while the one I booked (you can see it when I show the villas from the outside in the video) are right in front of the ocean with unobstructed views. @@ipereira7 Thanks for double checking with me. I'm actually not sure as I checked my Hilton App as well and the pictures are the same in both. I will try calling the Double tree hilton directly to see if there is a big difference. (I know some people prefer to stay in bures that are closer or further away from the swimming pool/restaurant/lobby but I'm not sure if that's it). As for your question about noise - my experience was this is one of the quietest resorts I have ever stayed at. It was so peaceful to go to sleep listening to the ocean and also so lovely to sit on my private deck (in my bure) each evening with a drink or cup of tea and watch the sunset - it felt like it was just me, the sunset and the ocean - such a tranquil experience. As it was a brand new lounge when I was there, they were still using the toilet/bathroom facilities that were located outside of the actual lounge (the doors located behind the bar area that is shown in the video). I did the same flight as you - departing at 11.00pm with Singapore Airlines, however, I had 14 hours at Singapore Airport so I booked the Aerotel Hotel at the airport and used the showers there. From your message, with a 1 hour connection there won't be much time for a shower (but maybe a nice cup of coffee!) Hope this bit of information helps you. Have a brilliant trip - so excited for you! @@ramanmand7675 Hi there, Great question - I always book all my hotel stays directly through the hotel's website as if there is ever any issue, the booking is with the hotel and they can sort it out directly and I am not relying on a third party company to try and sort it out. For the Aerotel transit hotel at Singapore Airport, I used their direct website (www.myaerotel.com) I will link it below. There I could book the number of hours I wanted to stay directly through the hotel. It was very simple to book through their website. Prices can vary depending on the time of year, however I think I paid approx. $380 Singapore Dollars for my room for 10-12 hours which also included a meal for each person and use of the swimming pool. @@ascemom Hi there, Thanks for your question. You might be able to see in my video when I show the deck area of my hut - you are able to swim, however no one really does there. Where the swimming pool is located at the resort, on the other side of that is the beach but it is mostly rocks. What I find that most people do when they go to Fiji is use the resort pool to swim then they take day trips out on boats, go swimming out in the water and have lunch included. I've done this a few times and they are a fantastic day out. I've got a couple of other videos on Fiji and the resorts showing how the beaches are around Denarau Island and Sonaisali Island that you can view. @@Nonie-km8qg Hi there, I can actually confirm that you definitely get access to this lounge at Melbourne Airport when you have a Business Class ticket. You also get access to this Qantas Business Lounge if you are a Qantas Platinum or Platinum One Member. The only time you do not have access to this lounge is if you are Qantas Gold. (I am Qantas Gold and when I am flying in Economy then I have access to the Qantas Club which is located opposite the Business Class Lounge. She is very used to flying and being at airports, in airplanes, lounges etc. Also, because I fly so much, since she was really little I used to play games with her about airplanes, travelling, hotels so it would become familiar to her (and I bring heaps of activities to amuse her!) I highly recommend doing that with kids, especially before their first flight - make it familiar and make it fun! There are some foxtel channels in the room tv, however this is something I have found in all Fiji hotels and resorts that the tv options are limited. There are definitely sports channels, news channels, cartoon kids channel, a couple of movie channels and a couple of Fiji Local channels. On our last trip to Fiji we spent most of the time in tge resort pools, the kids club, etc so we only had a bit of tv on certain days. Hops this info helps. I have just thought of another idea for you and your husband - opposite the Sheraton Fiji Resort is the golf course and the pub called the Heineken House. On my previous trip to Fiji I went there for dinner and there they had a few tv screens showing different sports - I'd also check there as you might be able to get a meal, drinks and watch it. @@ronbhalla5464 Hi there, Fantastic that you have flown on both the A350 and A380 aircraft. I have only flown in Premium with SQ on the B777 and have heard the A350 is even more spacious. In saying that it took me a long time to be able to fly in Premium and Business class so am always so grateful for the extra comfort and space but only publish the ones worthy of it! @@CassandraN-r2m Hi Cassandra, thank you so much for your comment. Here is my actual story: For most of my life, I had zero self confidence and no self esteem and struggled with everything. But I loved travel and especially luxury travel. I became a Flight Attendant 20 years ago. My dream job helped a bit with my confidence but only a bit. I also loved dance and yoga and used to teach but got injured. I did some Business and Mindset coaching for women at that time as the mindset work really helped with my confidence as well as others. That is how my RUclips channel actually started. I wanted to find a platform where I could share my mindset and meditation tools and ideas to help others feel confident and good about themselves. (You can still see a few of my meditation videos that have kept on my channel homepage). But a year ago I decided to start filming, editing and creating videos of my travels because that is such a big part of my life - and that's when my videos started doing well. I realised I was just being me! The way I am in my travel videos is exactly how I am and who I am if you meet me in person. So who you see on camera is me being me. I feel like this is so liberating. I'm not trying to be or act like anyone else. I absolutely love luxury travel and when I finally allowed myself to just be me on and off the camera it felt so much easier. It has even become so much easier and more fun to create the videos. I love the whole creative process. I don't have an amazing camera or anything but I taught myself video editing and really love the entire process. I think that's part of it. I am setting up a membership platform on my channel where I will be adding many other videos. I might include some of my Business, Mindset, confidence, yoga and meditation videos to that. For me, Luxury Travel is also a mindset - it is about choosing you and knowing that you are deserving of life's little luxuries! Hope this helps you to feel more confidence on and off the camera.
