Hi there, I'm so glad this video has brought back memories of the hotel, the lovely sunsets and your stay there. I was so happy to have the wonderful Doris and the security guard in the video. Thanks so much for sharing your memories and for subscribing!
Hello Lia. Thank you for putting together such a comprehensive view of the resort. We are heading to the resort in August. There are several vegans in our group. Did the resort offer much in the way of vegan food choices. Hoping you can advise.
Hi Helen, I'm so glad my video has helped you. So excited that you will be staying there in August! I am vegetarian (but not vegan) so here is the info I can tell you about the food at the resort: If you are having the full buffet breakfast - there is a really good selection of fruits - cut up fruits and whole fruits. There is also an assortment of salads, fruit juices and freshly made juice mixes. There is also the Indian food selection (which I love) that is usually veg/vegan as it was not cream based curries. At the cafe located in the lobby (called 28g - the one in my video) they also have a selection of salad rolls and sandwiches) as well as non-dairy based milk (I had the soy lattes made by the staff there Sangeeta and Elenoa that are fantastic)! The only thing i cannot tell you is about the bread. I don't know if there are vegan options for the breads. However, I do know the staff were super accommodating for my daughter and I. As for the dinner food, you have the options of the full buffet dinner with a different theme most nights or the restaurant (where I had the vegies selection most nights- delicious!). There is also coconut water available at the hotel which i always find is a nourishing and healthy drink. The staff at the hotel are super accommodating (even with room service). Also, there is a convenience store located just outside the entrance to the Sheraton Fiji Resort. (Just as a side note, you can also take the Bula Bus to Port Denerau or other resorts for a dinner to mix up the food options). Hope this info helps you and your group! Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks for your comment and thank you so much to you and your group for subscribing to my channel - it helps a lot!
@@LiaMuniz Thank you so much for your detailed reply. Really appreciate the time you took to look at so many vegan options available for us. Again, you do a great job. @@devereux2011 so great my reply has given you some extra info for your group. For the small kids - they will absolutely love the resort! Hi there, thank you for this amazing informative video really appreciate it as I’m going there in 4 weeeks 🎉 Question, is the ocean view room the one on top and ocean front is the one on the bottom? haha sounds so obvious but pls let me know
Hi there, Thank you for your comment. The difference between an Ocean View and Ocean Front room is this: Ocean view rooms have partial views of the ocean. Ocean front rooms have direct views and direct access to the ocean. Both ocean view and ocean front rooms are located at the ground level and top level. You can request either a top or ground floor room when you make your booking or anytime before you arrive and it is subject to availability. I hope this information helps you. How fantastic that you are going there!!! Let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks for the great video. There are obviously some good swimming pools in the resort but I couldn’t see anyone swimming in the ocean. How is the beach comparing to south of Fiji?
Hi there, Thanks for your comment. Yes, the swimming pools in the resorts are fantastic (and I've stayed at numerous resorts). Denarau Island is renowned for its resorts however, most people staying on that part of the island usually do day trips out to other islands, for snorkelling, swimming in the ocean and lunch. You can swim in the water next to the resorts but there are signs that say swim at your own risk and no lifeguards. I know that other islands/parts of the island are better known for its beaches. (I've just published my latest Sheraton video today and in the video I actually walk up to the rocks so everyone can see the beach area/rocks/water etc. Hope this info helps and thanks if you've subscribed! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Lia, did you like the seating on SIA Business Class. I will possible chose the same or 16 DF Anyhow I just subscribe, The Sheraton Resort in Fiji is that the old Fijian Resort? or is that the Shangri-La. ( Please Lia The Room Number of the Suite you stayed in please ) Ah! just got the room number 1270 watching you video of your room. Yes! It's the old Fijian Resort no doubt. Stayed there twice. It has really changed indeed. I'm looking at the Palm Trees the first time I visited those palm trees were horizontal, we had to grab a mattress and cover ourselves in the bathroom big cyclone OMG
@@johnmac4843 Hi John, yes - seats 16DF in Business Class with SIA will be fantastic! (I was in 14DF for the first flight and then 11DF on the next flight). Both brilliant flights! Crazy story - hope the weather is much better now. Thanks for your comment and thanks heaps for subscribing! Helps the channel heaps!
Hi there, Thanks for your question. I really enjoyed both hotels. In saying that there are some major differences. I have stayed at both hotels for business trips (my work) - each time 2 - 4 nights as well as for my personal holidays. The Hilton is a really solid 4 star resort while the Sheraton is definitely 5 star resort. The bathrooms especially are newer design and style at the Sheraton. The Sheraton is a more luxurious resort with the vast and spacious lobby, reception area, lagoon style swimming pool with swim up bar. For the prices, the Hilton's pricing on food, bar drinks, cocktails and their nightly buffet are much less compared to the prices at the Sheraton. As I love my 5 Star hotels and Resorts, I've definitely spent a lot more time at Sheraton Fiji Resort. Hope this info helps you.
