Your meal missing half its contents - LOL - that is SO Fiji 🤣 I went there over 15 years ago, and it was something you got used to (and we were at a fancy resort on Denarau Island). Island life - just roll with it! 🤭

It looked very empty when you were there, were there more Guests staying ? 😅 The view was stunning from the pool 😊 exactly what you said the Food is what it is for the price and accommodation 🤷♀️.
Maybe it wasn't peak season in fiji? I went to a place here in Germany that's super popular in summer but we went in winter outside of school holidays and honestly I think there were only like two more guests in the entire hotel and all the restaurants in the city were completely empty it was almost a bit freaky especially since I'm from a city in which it's normal to not get a table at a restaurant without a reservation no matter if its a tuesday in February or peak season everything is always booked out here😂😂
Good point! It was mid week and also further away like we mentioned, it we can’t have it both ways and we know that. We don’t want it too busy, but also a bit of a vibe would have helped ya know. We loved it either way!
Keep it quiet - but Pizzas' are great in Fiji - at the right place. Shhh!! And there are hidden specials that you have to know to ask for. Double shhhh
Damn you guys got ripped off with the hotel food prices at Pearl Resort…also the main resort wing rooms are better than the Marina wing rooms. I must say though the standard of the Pearl Resort has gone down over the years.
You reckon? Looked to us like the food prices were pretty consistent in resorts? Also we were really stoked with the room but didn’t get to see any others
@@DanegerAndStacey Yeah spent 10 years in Fiji before my move to kiwiland. That place (pearl resort) has changed hands so many times. It used to be locals Xmas party destination at one time. Keep up the awesome work with the travel vlogs 🙂

That resort had zero people!!! lol. It gave me and my wife Top Ten Taupo vibes lol. Hit up Shangri-La. Not too pricey
It's usually occupied by divers as the nearby Beqa lagoon is a major diver and shark feeding spot. Several dive boats leave early in the morning.
