Hi Sandra, So lovely to receive a comment from you. I'm so excited that you are going to the Sheraton Fiji Resort in March. Glad you're loving the channel and thanks for subscribing!
@@SandraH09 Hi Sandra, I used Rosie Holidays for my recent trip to Fiji. I selected the Private Standard transfers option. They were waiting at the airport for us with our names on a sign. They also have a representative at the Sheraton Fiji Resort at the tours desk in case you need anything. They have an easy website to use and I booked everything on their website and got confirmation via email.
Hi there, That's fantastic that you've stayed at the Hilton recently and are now looking at the Sheraton Fiji Resort. Personally, I really enjoy staying at both resorts. In my opinion, the biggest differences are these: 1. Hilton Fiji Resort is a very solid 4 - 4.5 star hotel while Sheraton Fiji Resort is definitely a 5 star hotel. 2. The rooms and bathrooms are newer with more of a focus on luxury at the Sherston Fiji Resort. 3. If you are travelling for work/business, the Sheraton rooms are more equipped for the business traveller. 4. The Hilton is very much tailored to a family-style holiday. 5. The swimming pools are different styles - Hilton is a traditional swimming pool while the Sheraton is more of a 'lagoon' style pool that goes around part of the resort. 6. For the food - you get more bang for your buck with Hilton food prices. (Eg: Buffet dinner at Hilton most nights is about FJD$89.00 while the buffet dinner at Sherston is about FJD$120). Drinks are on average FJD$15.00 during happy hour for a cocktail at Hilton. Cocktails at Sheraton are about FJD$25.00. 7. If you are like me and into fitness - both the Hilton and Sheraton have great gyms. (As you know the Hilton gym is towards the end of the resort while the Sheraton gym is actually located at the nearby Westin Hotel - it is the only thing is use at the Westin while it's being renovated). All in all, I have really enjoyed both resorts very much and I have stayed at both for business and holidays. The hospitality is wonderful at both. However, as I absolutely love luxury travel, I feel that the Sheraton is a step up, feels more luxurious, the rooms and bathrooms are well designed and fitted out and the Sherston caters so well to any kind of traveller. Hope this info helps. Thanks for your comment and for subscribing!
@@deedownundervlogs Hi there, Glad you enjoyed the video! There are some foxtel channels in the room tv, however this is something I have found in all Fiji hotels and resorts that the tv options are limited. There are definitely sports channels, news channels, cartoon kids channel, a couple of movie channels and a couple of Fiji Local channels. On our last trip to Fiji we spent most of the time in tge resort pools, the kids club, etc so we only had a bit of tv on certain days. Hops this info helps. Thanks for your comment and Thank you for subscribing - it really helps the channel get out there!
@@LiaMuniz Thanks so much for the info! My husband and I are massive footy fans and were worried we'd miss the AFL Grand Final, but sounds like we'll be able to catch it at the Sheraton after all! Really appreciate you replying back and we're looking forward to our weekend getaway even more now. Cheers!
@@deedownundervlogs my pleasure! I can't guarantee it'll be on but there were a couple of sports channels available in the room. I have just thought of another idea for you and your husband - opposite the Sheraton Fiji Resort is the golf course and the pub called the Heineken House. On my previous trip to Fiji I went there for dinner and there they had a few tv screens showing different sports - I'd also check there as you might be able to get a meal, drinks and watch it. Hi Robert, Thanks for your question. I really enjoyed both hotels. In saying that there are some key differences. I have stayed at both hotel for business trips (my work) - each time 2 - 4 nights as well as for my personal holidays. The Hilton is a really solid 4 Star hotel while the Sheraton is definitely a 5 star resort. The bathrooms especially are a newer design and style at the Sheraton. The Sheraton is a more luxurious resort with the vast and spacious lobby, reception area, lagoon style swimming pool with swim up bar. For the prices, the Hilton's pricing on food, bar drinks, cocktails and their nightly buffet are much less compared to the prices at the Sheraton. As I love my 5 Star hotels and resorts, I've definitely spent a lot more time at the Sheraton Fiji Resort. Hope this information helps. Let me know if you have any other questions and thanks for subscribing.
Hi Lia Thanks so much for this video ! We are going to Fiji in March, we have booked flights but haven’t booked accomodation yet ! We’ve stayed in Fiji twice before at the Marriott Momi Bay, but are considering the Sheraton for our next stay, we will have a 10 month old with us this time and it looks perfectly suited to us ! Random questions - is there a medical centre on site ? Also would you say the beds were soft or hard ? With the poolside dining, can you eat as you are laying by the pool or is it only at the tables ? Thanks !!! Sorry for the random questions haha Ash
Hi Ash, Thank you so much for your comment and questions. Firstly, I'm so excited for your upcoming trip to Fiji in March (and even more exciting that you are going with your 10 month old - how wonderful!) Here are the answers: 1. There is a medical centre on the road outside of the Sheraton Fiji Resort - about 5 mins away on the main road that takes you to the Sherston Fiji resort. As a second option, there is also another Medical centre located inside the Hilton Fiji Resort, near their kids club (I have a full video review of their resort as well so you can see it. I will it below for you). 2. The beds I have always found very comfortable at the Sheraton Fiji Resort. I would say they are slightly firm but with a pillowtop so it definitely does not feel too firm or too soft. (My daughter slept on the bed that you can see in the video and she was super comfortable). 3. Yes poolside dining is available all day. I saw lots of people eating there. There are banana lounges as well as those circular outdoor seats with the cushions and the covers - shown in the video when we are seated by the pool. Great for kiddies and babies as you can have shade by the pool. There are small tables next to all the chairs so if you order food or drinks they will serve it to where you are lounging by the pool. Everything can be charged to your room for anywhere in the resort. The cafe is also a lovely option to sit or get lighter food and the staff 'Sangeeta and Elenoa' make the best coffees. If you have any other questions or need more clarification on these ones, please let me know! Thank you for subscribing!

Hi, thanks for Review Tour. Does Aqua Aerobics seem to be the same time each day please? Do any of the activities need booking? Is there Jet Skies for hire or Kayaks? Is lunch (if needed) ordered from Cafe or a la Carte in Buffet Restaurant?
Hi there, Thanks for your questions. 1. Aqua aerobics is held every day. Some of the songs and routines are the same while others change each day. 2. For the daily activities for both the adults and kids you do not need to book in advance. Just show up a few minutes beforehand. (I've done a few arts and crafts activities and my daughter did some of the kids activities and it was the same for both). 3. Yes, there are both jetskis and kayaks available for hire. There are also those small catamarans available. They are all located just behind the towel hut. You can speak to the staff in the towel hut about hiring them. 4. Lunch is available at the cafe in the lobby (Cafe 28g as shown in my video. They have a selection of sandwiches, bagels, creps, and desserts as well as hot and cold drinks). There is also the restaurants where you can get a la carte food and all day room service. There is also the bar menu that you can order food and drinks throughout the day and have it served if you are lounging by the pool. Also other alternatives are: there is a chicken and chips shop located right outside the entrance to the Sheraton resort as well as a convenience store which is a 2 minute walk from the entrance so there are lots of options. Hope this information helps you and thank you for subscribing!
