Amazing, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING how you took the time by yourself to make such a detailed video! I took my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee in for this service and was told they can't get an ETA on the part. Then I was told how much work is involved which I already knew due to having it done two years ago at a private shop. I figured the dealer could get it done right. But the Service Dept shocked I was willing to pay to get it fixed after giving me the price. This I was told from Reedman Toll CDJR of Jenkintown in Pa. After seeing this I feel like the Technician backed out.

После того как наш старый электродвигатель ДСК 12-24-12 окончательно вышел из строя, нам пришлось ему на замену приобрести электродвигатель ДАСК 132 (статор, ротор, Ш/У) производства Московского компрессорного завода. Хорошо, когда замеры габаритов один в один совпадают с необходимыми, движок встал на свое место как будто здесь находился всегда! Работает тихо, не греется, справляется на сто процентов со своими задачами. Рекомендую!

Your finding of the TSB is a massive discovery. How did you come across finding that? My vehicle is identical to this one aoart from being 2 months older. Exact same issue. Couldn't be more grateful that this video popped up on top in a google search. It's too bad you've stopped uploading. You narrate like I'm with an uncle or something. Now that’s what I call amazing. Exact same issue on my 2012 Sonata. Ordered the part and was back up and running in 2 days. Took less than 5 minutes to fix. Thanks again for posting this video!!

if it is the resistor that's bad, you can get some 8 gauge wire and 2 alligator clips to make a jumper wire. strip a little insulation off the lower of the 2 wires going into the fan motor and clip it to a ground. like a bolt. i clipped it to a valve cover bolt. it will blow on high til you get the resister replaced.

How thick are the factory shims ? My air gap is about 47 thousands and I'd like to get one or two shims instead of a whole bag so I'm ready to reassemble.

So if the shim is removed the compressor is always on if ac is on? Or always running at all times

Great video. I am watching this because I need to replace the resistor and the fan motor for the rear. I also have an issue with a damper in the front to where the fan is at full speed but hardly any airflow coming out of the vents. Clearly an airflow restriction. Is there anyway we can chat and I can pick your brain for a moment? I am a commercial HVAC technician so I’m not clueless to turning wrenches lol

good video.. not expecting an answer --- but if you were doing axle shafts at the same time will they pull out through the open hub without the bearing in place or do you still have to pull the top ball joint nut ?

A good alternative fix for someone that can't afford to have the problem correctly Is to create a new stop for the gear so it wouldn't fully rest up against the rubber seal so it wouldn't get stuck again
