I've recently finished the Windows Mobile (same as IOS) version of Undercover on my phone, and despite being insanely short, having content from the PSP version (specifically the map/event select in the main menu, and the cars), and having a REAAAAAAALLY bad handling model (it feels like those old 2.5d racing games where you're moving the car side to side on a set path), it has ONE specific thing that probably makes it closer to the concept art than the other ports, and its rain/puddles/moody sky, whereas the other versions have sunny skies and maybe sunset, the WM/iOS version. On a side note, i Wanna see how the DS version is, as i'm still early on in that game

I have to argue against ME 1, its original combat was stilted, slow and methodical. Clipping issues, constant mismanagement of powers and random texture breaks defined my experience with it.

I skipped this one, because my pc couldn't run it at the time and Company of Heroes came out around the same time, which scratched that itch for me. Nowadays I realize that Ground Control and World in Conflict along with Company of Heroes were games that really pushed RTS game design forward and away from dumb unit amassing, units with simple health bars and simple damage stat and terrain being little more than flat plane with a few indestructible obstacles. It also prepared the ground for games from Eugen Systems (R.U.S.E., Wargame, Steel Division, Warno), Barbedwire Studios (helped with Men of War, working on Gates of Hell: Ostfront) and Slitherine (Terminator: Dark Fate - Defiance) I am looking forward to Broken Arrow now, to finally experience that World in Conflict style of gameplay. (funnily enough my current pc couldn't run the last playtest) It is unfortunate that publishers nowadays hoard rights to various games like no tommorow, so franchises with big potential are left rotting, instead of somebody working on them.

Tom Clancys HAWX was quite fun. Especially the Enhanced Reality System - the famous ERS-Mode. HAWX 2 made it a bit up with the weapons configuration mode. But they still lacked the customization for individual fighters. Not mentioning the low numbers of available crafts.

Over G is not part of the Ubisoft flight game canon. It is Taito made and published. Ubi were just responsible for bringing it internationally.

I personally prefer the wii version of Blazing Angels. Sure, its graphics aren't as good, but it is so much better!!!!!!!

I actually liked undercover...i just thought the cut scenes were stupid and i hated the alot of the body customization was locked behind performance parts

Love Over-G Fighters, closest we ever got to a modern combat sim on a console. Your problems with maneuverability and evading missiles were skill issues, don't fly so slow, speed is life,.

Taito actually are a big company, they own a lot of arcades in Japan and I can say this: they might be horrible at making actual games, but their arcades sure are better than most there...

Honestly I am currently playing Ace Combat 7(haven't played previous titles) and I can definitely say that gameplay wise, the first HAWX plays much, much better. A lot of the other points are correct, and its a shame about they way HAWX 2 was handled, but I'd much rather go for a new HAWX that is properly made than another Ace Combat^^

HAWX was definitely my favorite in the list because of how similar it was and the soundtrack was pretty great

Project Wingman is ace combat with alternate world setting (or real world ?) with red filter not in live support or even competitor. star wars squadron is the one on live support. But yeah hawx 1 is overused ERS & tac off, hawx 2 is better gameplay worse story

Heroes over Europe was my child hood. I have been interested by warplanes since I was 5. I wish I could play that game again but I lost my disc and it isn't on steam

I've played both HAWX games, AC 6, 7 and the black sheep Assault Horizon while watching cutscenes for the others on RUclips. And as meh as they are, I definitely say I prefer HAWX and AH. Not for gameplay or what not, but honestly, I'll take being hammered over the head about profits over being told and shown how bad war is every entry. Nor are we the newbie or basic guy who becomes a legend by the end of the game either. You're just a really good pilot. You get your praise, but keep going with business as usual. Funnily enough this is something Assault Horizon did better, and I feel the voiced protagonist helped. (Also the characters talking in the upper corner is something we see plenty of in GRAW and Rainbow Six Vegas. Perhaps a bit weird but it makes sense in-universe considering the stuff like CROSS-COM.)

This is what happens when you have a developer who lacks any sort of passion for their project and are just out to make a quick buck.
