Mesa Tactical Urbino Tactical Stock Update

One of the most popular videos we have posted so far was our initial install and review of the Mesa Tactical Urbino Tactical Stock for the Benelli M4. After shooting it a while, we figured it would be time to create a more in-depth review and let you guys know our thoughts.
Proper Scope Mounting: Vortex Strike Eagle on Savage 93R17
Просмотров 1,4 тыс.2 года назад
The Savage 93R17 is a great gun, but is definitely being limited in it's abilities by the Gamo scope that we started with. Today we swap the Gamo 3-9x40 with a Vortex Strike Eagle 3-18x44 to give us better image quality, more reticle capabilities, more magnification, parallax adjustments, and illumination. This should be an upgrade that will let us push the .17HMR out quite a bit further and gi...

Tipton Ultra Gun Vise Review

I've needed a vise for a while now and finally found one that seemed to check quite a few boxes for me. The Tipton Ultra Gun Vise is sturdy and stable, but still portable and able to be put away when not in use. Today I'm walking you guys through unboxing and setup of this vise as well as pointing out a few features along the way.
Impact Weapon Components Multilight Adapter and TLR RM2 on Benelli M4
Просмотров 7 тыс.2 года назад
The Benelli M4 is a great shotgun all by itself, but there are a few ways to upgrade it. Like most guns on the market, a light is usually an excellent place to start. Today we show you one way to mount one to a firearm that doesn't have a way to mount a light from the factory. We utilized the Impact Weapon Components Multilight Adapter to add a short rail to the platform, which makes the Stream...
Mesa Tactical Urbino Pistol Grip on Benelli M4
Просмотров 23 тыс.2 года назад
The Benelli M4 furniture from the factory isn't bad by any means, but when beggers can't be choosers, beggers must find other ways to improve their firearms. Today, we upgrade the OEM stock on the shotgun to a new Mesa Tactical pistol grip. With a bit shorter length of pull and a rubberized pistol grip, it's great addition to the assembly and super easy to install.
GG&G Charging Handle on Benelli M4
Просмотров 11 тыс.2 года назад
The Benelli M4 charging handle, functionally, is just fine of the box. However, it's not the most comfortable handle out there. The GG&G charging handle upgrade is fast, reasonably priced, and is probably one of my favorite upgrades on the shotgun. This video shows some finer details about the product, process, and end result.
Trijicon SRO on Benelli M4
Просмотров 16 тыс.2 года назад
The Benelli M4 has a great set of ghost ring sights from the factory, but it's really hard to beat the near instant target acquisition you can achieve with a reflex/red-dot sight like the Trijicon SRO (SKU: SRO2-C-2500002). In order to install the new optic so the SRO and the ghost rings can be co-witnessed and used interchangeably, we had to remove the factory picatinny rail and replace it wit...
Barrett M107A1 Unboxing

A "dream gun" for many, the Barrett M107A1 .50 BMG Anti-Material Rifle is an absolute beast. I decided to throw a video together to show what all is included, show a few details about the rifle, and give folks an opportunity to ask questions. This rifle was purchased in March of 2022, and many other videos have slight differences with their unboxing or didn't answer a lot of questions I had whe...
I own one, absolutely love it, do you need it? No, but if you can afford it why not. Any vise can do what this vise does. To each his own.
True
Dude knows absolutely ZERO about what he's doing. Another JAFO come lately with the coin to buy into the big boys club. Sell it to an operator that knows what to do with it. IYKYK
Will you teach me how to operate, Daddy?
@PrecisionTKS Get familiar with the weapon, usage, and employment tactics. You're comments indicate the lack of those fundamentals. Take a long range course. Then make decision to keep it or not. Best of luck!
@billyg1563 Okey dokey
Great video, really helps me a lot.
Thanks! I'm glad it helped!
Well done. Thanks for this.
No problem!
You bought the name ! Lol
Exactly
Accutek bipod
Solid choice
You should of got a 338 LM. Watching this has raised my blood pressure bc it sounds like a kid whining about what he bought and trying to convince others but to buy it.. but hey if you don't like the prices, sell it. Buy cheaper.
Thank you for lowering my blood pressure, knowing you helped feed the algorithm so I can afford to shoot my not-a-338LM
Thanks for the informative video. I recently purchased this shotgun and didn’t know how it went together and you demonstrated it and more 😂 I have a question relating to lubrication points however; a small container of oil was included in the box and the manual mentions applying the appropriate amount, but I’m unclear as to where the required lube points are and how extensive the oil is to be applied? I would be grateful for any pointers you can impart to me. Thanks again for the video and Merry Christmas!
Off the top of my head, I'd say the bolt, carrier, trigger assembly, recoil assembly. I use as little oil as possible. Shotguns are dirty shooters and the oil attracts and holds the dust, which of course leads to other issues.
This set up has been holding up for 2 years. probably time to change the batteries. Thank you for the video
Absolutely. Mine is still lit up, but it's definitely cheap insurance.
But how does it work against zombies?
Are we talking Walking Dead zombies or WWZ style?
I don't get what holds the cheek riser at the correct height ?
Physics
Currently eyeballing a M82A1, in the 20” flavor. All of this so good info, for sure. Nothing really surprising or that I haven’t already considered. Some PMC 660GR *can* be had for under $40/Box. I have a range to shoot it at, safely. Figured $2,000-$3,000 on an optic/rings right out of the gate. Another $400-$500 on some more mags.
Sounds about right
No problems in AZ or NV ruclips.net/video/85vBOO9C0kA/видео.html
Nice
So you can afford a 107, but dont have your own land to shoot it? Priorities bro
First world peasant problems
You bought a 50. Stop whining!! Sell it if you are going to whine about it.
Yes, daddy
Yep, A place to shoot is problem number 1. Ranges don’t like it. Luckily I have land.
That's, by far, the hardest one to deal with. Having land is a big step forward.
Well done man!!! Great insight.
Thanks!
Thank you, much appreciated.
No problem!
Thanks. Now, how do you remove the GG&G charging handle.
The same way as the stock one. Just pull it off with a slight twist.
Dude you just saved me 12k!!! I was soooo on the fence and was gonna pull the trigger this week! My wife thanks you also 😂
Blow the $12k. Be a man... lol
1st World problems...
They are the best ones to have...
We all know we don’t need that but… damn! We really want it!
EXACTLY!!! LOL
Thanks for sharing...thoro
Thanks!
This is a fantastic video, but I think it's missing the part about removing the hammer pin c clip. The fire control group portion starts with that removed, but never shows how to do it.
I'll have to take a look.
Yeah, that section starts with "now that the c clip is removed", but doesn't show how to do it. Immediately before that, you are discussing other parts of the shotgun.
@madcatjoe gotcha. Yeah, that was a good catch. All you need to do to remove the clip is to essentially pry it off, starting with one tab with a pick or screwdriver and work your way around the clip.
Thank you for taking the time to show this detail.
No problem! I hope it helped
Thank you.
No problem! I hope it helps
I installed a MI handguard and when I reassembled it I can see and hear the gas piston shake up and down with a bolt held open when I close it the piston moves up a little bit but does not move. Is that normal? I don't remember what it was like and some people are giving mixed answers online.
I would assume so, but don't take my word for it. The handguard shouldn't be messing with the function of the system at all.
So you spent many thousands of dollars without doing any research-got it 🤷♂️ You need a redneck state, our range is $30 a year, and back in the woods. Grab a buddy and a case of Busch lite and you’re good to go
Phenomenal video great detail and presentation!
Thanks!
How often to clean the ARGO system? Keep hearing it’s more or less self cleaning but I can see build up happening in the piston area.
I know I clean mine a lot more often than required, but that's just me. If you're not comfortable with what you are seeing on your own, just clean it. Its an easy and quick process.
I stopped at the 1 min mark. Don't buy a rifle you can't shoot and marry. Next video.
Okey dokey
The noreen ulr 50 best deal in my opinion
It's definitely a solid option
I got my M95 for about $2500 almost 25 years ago. Some years, I'll put 20 rounds on it, others 200. I've carried mine in the trunk of a Camry without much issue, but my Suburban does better getting to the remote locations we shoot. If history holds, you could use yours for a decade and get more than your money back.
Without a doubt
What stool is that?
Just one I found on Amazon I think. I honestly can't remember.
I went back to my original stock.
Good choice
Amazing video ! Thank you so much! Could you make one on the 590a1?
I appreciate it! I would if I had one!
Because you can.
It's the American way
Great video, thank you! Question --- when you tilt your m4 up and down upon reassembly, do you hear the pistons click at all? Just noticed this with mine .... new M4 owner
Thanks! Honestly, I never really paid attention to it, but I'm sure you could hear them move if everything is cleaned and operating properly. They are free-movong by design, so there shouldn't be anything to worry about.
Was wondering the same thing... Thanks for asking it😊
I was just given a Robar RC-50. 50 BMG, with 100 rounds of some ammo from Arizona called acculube 10x coated 750 gr Hornady A max. I'm well versed in most weapon systems and cannot find a place to shoot past 300 yards unless I drive 6 hrs. Very frustrating.
That's honestly my biggest complaint with the .50 caliber rounds. Everyone wants to shoot it and say they have, but no one wants to provide a place to do it
@@PrecisionTKS I hear ya. I thought about asking some farmers in the surrounding counties if they would mind if I shot on there land given they have a big hill for a backstop. Living in Nebraska has its ups and downs! Haha
@@stevang4720 I used to live there. Check out the range in Alliance.
@@PrecisionTKS I live right outside of Lincoln....thats the 6 hr drive I was talking about! Haha
Appreciate the video. With that being said, With that being said, With that being said, with that being said, With that being said, You certainly say that a lot. Some people have a problem with "Uhhhh and Hmmm" when public speaking. It would appear you're good in that department but have fallen to WTBS as your default filler. Just some constructive criticism and in no way am I trying to be negative. Thanks for the video!
Yup
Trantow Mews
Sure
Folks, you can certainly shoot it in big bean fields. 1000 yards or so. Especially when you have a dirt berm at the end. It's not made for taking out a damn battleship. 1500 dollar Leopold holds just fine. Transporting, you break it down. Better with a tripod. Get the right break and don't be a puss. Snipers haul it, shoulder it, and handle business
Yup
15-20K smiles per round shot…. Stop whining😬😬😬
Okay
Hey man, the reason why no gun shooting ranges won’t except the M107, M82A1, is because the M107 was designed by Ronnie Barrett for disabling anti tanks and aircraft’s etc. it’s Not a sniper rifle…. thanks for sharing man.
Yep. Anti-material rifle
All the more reason why I think the Desert Tech HTI is superior. the monopod is fantastic and easy to adjust; the bipod, same story.
Good to know
What state you in that don’t have a lot of places to shoot it? There are indoor ranges here that will let you shoot 50bmg lol
Michigan. There are definitely places to shoot, but not nearly as many as small calibers
But there is so many versions of this type of rifle plus add on's
This is true
The 50 BMG is not for everyone. It is not the choice of many sporting rifle enthusiasts. There are numerous differences with shooting and reloading and differences with equipment. I find that there are several different types of 50 owners or shooters. 1. The type that like to play around and blow stuff up. This group may not be overly concerned with marksmanship or long range accuracy. 2. The collector type. These folks may not shoot it a ton and don’t necessarily invest a lot of energy in precision accuracy, but they appreciate the art and style of the collection piece. 3. The type that invest time and energy in to precision target accuracy. These folks are often 50 reloaders and are invested into long range competitive shooting or experimentation. The first group often gets tired of the playing over time and may lose interest, selling it off eventually. Whatever type you are, it is a large investment. Many hobbies can be expensive. No exceptions here. There are a lot of different types of 50 rifles out there. In all honesty, the Barrett is a fine piece of engineering and a wonderful rifle & battle weapon.. It is also inferior to numerous 50 rifles out there for long range accuracy. There are a number factors that make this true. I know that you are a beginner in this arena and welcome to you! I might suggest you join the 50 cal shooters association. A ton of great information and resources can be found there. One thing I have to tell you and perhaps challenge your idea of the 50 is that I know the 50 was originally designed as an anti material round. For this purpose it is a great thing! The 50 BMG has evolved since its development. How we understand it today has changed. Be careful about labeling it as not a precision round. It is absolutely capable of being a combat multiplier. It is more than capable of engaging smaller targets including enemy personnel. It is used to do so perhaps more than you think in this day and age. Characterizing it as only an anti material round does sell it far short. War is not about giving your enemy a good chance at you. The 50 is terribly destructive. Of course! But the 50 is one option that is a force multiplier and as we know now, it provides much more than just keeping the enemies head down.
Yep!
I had a Leupold MK 8 5-25 on my m82 and felt like I was wasting a great optic on a rifle I don’t shoot all that often. I swapped the Leupold out with an Arken SH4 4-16. I’m about 350 rounds in and it’s been solid. Honestly the scar 17 is far worse on optics than the Barrett. Rings are badger high steel rings. I mainly shoot lake city delinked machine gun ammo and get 2-4 inch groups at 100 yards. I delink the ammo myself. I’ve shot it out to 1k yards and it holds its group size with the occasional flyer which are usually the tracer round. I’ve run the AMax and it’s a little under an inch if I do my part but it’s expensive. The lake city machine gun ammo is good enough for most of what I am going to do. If you’re getting 3 foot groups at 100 yards you need to send it back to Barrett and have them look it over for you. Not even a piece milled AK mailed in from the Congo shoots 3 foot groups. Last, ammo is expensive but it’s not a gun you’re going to put 500 rounds down range in a day. The concussive force from the muzzle break is enough to give you a headache after 20-30 shots. All that said, I LOVE the rifle. Sounds like a f’n cannon! When I take it to public ranges I usually go on a Tuesday or Wednesday when it isn’t busy. Great video!
Thanks
Would you share where you attached the top to the rest of the structure besides that one piece towards the front of it you have flat across? I would think you have more screw points but I couldnt determine where from the video.
Nope, that's all I had to use. Through the front and back cross members, up and into the countertop. There's relatively small lateral load, and what actually does exist doesn't take much to overcome with a handful of screws.
