Ritchey Kyote And Buzzard Bar Review
Ritchey is a legendary bike and component manufacturer that has literally been around since the beginning of mountain biking itself. 50 years later, they're still making top of the line steel frames, but have added a pretty good selection of handlebars to their line up. They recently sent me two to try out: the popular Kyote and it's new cousin the Buzzard bar. I've spent a good amount of time on these bars and in this video, I tell you what I think of them.

The Evolution Of A Legend | Jones SWB First Look And Ride
Просмотров 2,7 тыс.14 дней назад
Last year I reviewed the Jones LWB: a 29 plus equipped rigid bike with a design far from the norm. I loved that bike so much I ended up buying the test one I had been sent. The LWB isn't the only bike Jones sells, so they recently sent me it's little brother, the SWB. In this video, I go over the basics of the bike and take it for a first ride. As most kids are notorious for putting bikes to the test by pushing their riding skills to the limits, I've usually bought cheap Walmart bikes or found deals on the used marketplace. When it comes to bikes and components, I love things that can serve more than just one purpose. In that spirit, Velo Orange recently sent me their Utility Riser Bar and Rack to try out. It's got a pretty ingeniously simple design that allows you to mount a rack, up to 4 water bottle holders, or whatever else you'd want all in a comfortable design. In this video, I go over the specs of the bar a...

    Good stuff, if anyone from Ritchey sees this, get some Buzzard bars over to the UK! I know at least 4 people after a set, and I know that number probably doesn't blow your skirt up, but whenever they are in stock at places like SJS Cycles, they sell out immediately. I had to import mine from Velo Store Europe for eighty quid which is a bit of a bummer, but still better than getting a second mortgage out for something like the Moloko bars... 😃

I'm a little nervous after I ordered one a few weeks ago for delivery to my local store and not noticing that it doesn't have a front suspension. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23) When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. (Mark 2:17) For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. (2 Corinthians 7:10) I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. (Luke 13:5)

      Making a Jones bike out of aluminum completely defeats the purpose and design philosophy of a Jones Bike. An aluminum Jones bike would have a terrible ride quality when compared to their steel and titanium counterparts. The budget Jones bikes are the complete bikes without truss forks and are built with entry level and private label components.

    • @alsmit5
      @alsmit5 16 дней назад

      @@thisishowiedewitt76hyperbolize much? The diamond frame is stiff with lots of steel and weight. It’s not heat treated. The standard fork is available for any build, including high end custom ones. The ride quality has more to do with its geometry, large tires and handlebars. Steel is great until you have to hike a bike. An aluminum version would be interesting. Reviews of the hudski doggler seem very positive. But I can only speak to the SWB, which is have owned since 2018.
