I've been stalking in getting a Jones H-Bar for my full suspension fat bike, because I'm hesitant on the impact of the 45⁰ sweep. I think this one just might be the one I've been waiting for. Thanks for putting it on my radar.
I ride the Salsa Bend 2 Bar on all of my bikes. They have 17 degrees sweep but the bend is in such a way that it doesn’t affect reach or stem length. Handling wise it’s like a really comfortable flat bar tbh. Just wish they made it in carbon.
Unfortunately that’s just how things are when it comes to titanium frames and components. It’s not too far off from a lot of carbon bars out there though.

@@RideYearRound Titanium prices are artificially maintained just like the prices of bicycle components if people stop buying, the bicycle industry might learn something, namely that you can't be greedy and expect profit
Yah, that blew me out of the water too. If I owned a company in the US making these, that's about what they would cost. If I had a factory in Taiwan, more like $50. Rent, insurance and wages. I am very pro American and am thankful for companies like Ritchey that make a comp version of their products that is higher spec than a lot of "Pro" level stuff from other companies. Binary is relatively new and small. Perhaps in time. Thanks for the vid, love all that you do.
Thank you so much for this amazing video! I need some advice: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
@@RideYearRound... Gotcha, thanks! My Denham bars arrive today, so I'm curious to see how they feel. I think I'm going to actually go with a longer stem with them since their control position is actually behind the Jones' (according to the WhatBars overlay). Merry Christmas!
A few things NOT addressed. COST in my opinion NOT worth the money. I have tried several of these style bars. Mainly the Jones H bar. Less $ but still not great imo. Consider other bars first. GRIPS Special longer grips are needed and selection is limited and the tend to be expensive. I found a long blk foam grip to be good. SHIFTER location You can even see it in this video. The shifters are located too far inward causing you to choke up on the bars and leave 2" or 3" beyond the end of your hands. If you have to shift in an emergency situation this bar SUCKS for shifter location. Bar BAGS Again limited selection and good functionality lead to $$$. Too small for good functionality. RIDE Position Some claim the bars are for comfort? They tend to make you ride more up right. If you're putting them on a modern geometry mtb they don't work well.
Using the incredibly long jones grips does cause the shifters to be really far inward. I don’t think you really need to use long grips though unless you want extra hand positions on the main bar portion. I also used the bar with some normal length grips and it keeps your shifters in a very normal spot.
Those are a nice bar- thanks for the review. 🤘🏼

I’d definitely take a closer look at these then if I were you!
Nice bars but not affordable for mere mortals... I'm happy with my Jones H Loop bar

Thanks dude.
300 bucks for a handlebar!

Titanium bars are worth it. They’ll last forever and are materially more comfortable than aluminum.
@@davidross8233for 6x the price of an aluminum bar, many people will forgo the option to find out. Sorry.

Have you tried this bar on the Jones LWB?
No I haven’t but if I did I’d definitely go with a shorter stem.

Merry Christmas to you too!
Flat bar in my book is 45 degrees. My main whip has 77 degree bars and I ride some pretty awful stuff on the bike.
@@davidross8233 what bars are those? Sounds like something I’d want to try out…
Custom Dooms Bars. I have some really bad neck problems so the only way I can stay on the bike is with deeply swept bars.
Ah gotcha, those sound cool. I hit some pretty interesting stuff with 45 degrees, but it did take a few rides to get used to.
