This is a video from a drag racing event that happened last weekend (27/3/21) at Khlong 5, otherwise known as Bangkok Drag Avenue.
Mostly its all what they call "pop cars" in thai which are 50cc 2stroke scooters from 80's, 90's, and 00's. The majority bikes are Honda Dio and Yamaha Jog.
This was my first time actively participating in the race as opposed to just filming. After about 4 or 5 pratice runs I was achieving a steady 10.9sec @ 201m. I then proceeded to enter the "closest to 15 seconds" category. There was a huge range of bikes in this category. My best attempt was 14.8sec.
All in all, it was an awesome day with loads of killer bikes although it was blistering hot on the track.
