No, not at all. Also I have upgraded to TWH brake shoes so there is no problem stopping. It's just a case of keeping the shoes clean and making sure the brakes are adjusted properly. Of course, disc brakes are better if you can find some 👍
Thai Torque but for mild setup they are all good aye? And sorry to ask a lot of question. I saw you putting a blanking plug on your oil pump so definitely you are running a premix right. Do you still need to use the fuel pump from gas tank? What i mean is from gas tank fuel hose then fuel pump then fuel hose again then fuel filter then fuel hose that gose to your carburator. Is that right?
No worries. It's no problem answering questions. For a mild setup, drums are fine. Once you get above 90cc then I would for sure recommend discs. And you're right, I do have an oil plug and am using only premix. No oil tank or pump at all. This does require an upgrade of the throttle cable to a single line though. The mix ratio I am using is 32/1. It works out at around 156ml of oil per 5L of fuel.
Oh, I misunderstood your question a bit. Yes, I do still use fuel pump from the fuel tank and vacuum line. Just not the oil tank and pump. So, from the gas tank, fuel goes through a small OEM filter to the fuel pump, then the fuel pump has 2 hoses. One that goes to the carb and I have high quality aftermarket filter on that line. Also there is a hose from the fuel pump which is the vacuum line to the crank case.
Have you got any problem on braking with the front drum brake? Coz i have the same dio for project. Thanks
