Really love the build,Where did you get the mask for Samara? Found it ❤
You can just hard wire them to a dc/ac adapter and can leave the lights that come with them alone and can still use the timer function that comes with them. It’s not hard I did all mine last year. Just need to make sure you get the right volts. 1 battery is 1.5 volts doesn’t matter if AA or AAA all are 1.5 volts.
I just saw this lighting feature and think it's outstanding. Can you tell me what the light is called on Amazon for the skeletons chest? Great job!!!
It is a led flickering flame bulb. They have all different colors and I used a drop cord.
Does anybody know where and the model number to order the motor?
It’s a reindeer head motor and I got it from Kindy’s Christmas Factory outlet online.

Thanks for this Kelly. I have the same pumpkins from HD and wondered why two of my older (more brown-orange) last for weeks with just 3 AA batteries in each of them but the small, newer one (same as in this video) eats batteries like they are going out of style. Now I know why. I’ll definitely try your DIY solution.

Did you ever find the windsheild wiper motor and parts any cheaper?
To be honest, I haven’t really researched. I’ve been super busy and I only had one other project that I needed a windshield wiper for it was just easier to order the same one but eventually I will do some research on it! Ha ha

Just a tip there’s UV protectant spray that’s clear you might want to put that on after because I had to repaint my jack-o’-lantern it’s all faded and like pale.
I like the dirt creepy, spooky look. Kind of ironic. This video came up I just painted my old vintage one and it came with a yellow on the inside. Were you have the black and I was thinking oh I should paint it black but then I was trying to keep it in that true vintage style think next year I will painted black like this.

I had it from a previous witch I bought. You can probably find something similar on Amazon or even use go in the woods and look for a stick that looks similar. That’s what I was going to do before. I remembered that I had this one from another witch.
How did you modify it to plug directly into the head?
I actually bought the kit from someone off of a Halloween Facebook group. I would imagine they sell them all over by now. I paid $25 for mine.

What is the window projector? I love it!
It is from atmosfx. I use a projector inside projecting onto a frost shower curtain I hang inside the window

I just got started on our well (thank you for the tutorial BTW) and ours will be larger because we will have a live actor inside. (24 blocks total) I am already dreading painting it. I was hoping maybe someone has had success using a paint sprayer? I just wonder how well it would get into the crevices???
UPDATE: We thinned our paint a little and used a paint sprayer. Took about 15 mins to completely coat the entire thing with the base color. This is definitely the way to go!

I carved the well out of Styrofoam blocks, and I made the girl out of PVC pipe and a windshield wiper motor painted a mask and added hands. You’ll find those tutorials on my RUclips channel.

I haven’t used the heat gun on Foam pumpkins before simply because I didn’t have any So I’m not sure what kind of look it would give it. You could take the cheapest one you have and try it out for sure.

I’m not sure what you mean by weight. Do you mean secure them? If so, I don’t secure them at all, they’re just sitting.
@@kellysdiyhalloweencreation8382 so it is heavy enough to withstand weather ect? Or do you take them in? I have been having issues with that and there are so many props out sometimes I cant get all of them in time. So I was wondering how you do that -if you did. Thanks for the reply!
All of my props stay out in the weather unless a hurricane is coming. Any animatronics that I’ve bought I try to waterproof their control box With plastic bags but I don’t do that with the animatronics that I have made. I do try to waterproof any switches or plugs with plastic bags or electrical tape.
Great video. I took a stab and I made this witch following your great directions. However my witch head is putting a lot of weight which causes the motor not to work properly. I’m using a foam head for the mask only. Would you know what I could do to fix that issue?
I am also using a foam head with a mask. Maybe there is something a little off in the set up that I could help with that I would need to see it. Are you in any of the Halloween Facebook groups where I could connect with you?

It should be mentioned that not all fixtures or bulbs are rated for outdoor use, so be careful that you get what you need for where you’ll be displaying it. If you don’t get outdoor rated stuff it’s a good idea to mark on the back of the piece that it’s indoors or outdoor use, so you remember for use again in the future.
I’ll keep that in mind although I’ve been using These for quite some time without issue.

I have not use the heat gun on foam pumpkins. I’m not quite sure what it would do. The foam pumpkins that I carved I used a heated knife. The video with the half Pumpkins is the one I’m talking about.
