I used the same design as you. I bought the deer motor from Amazon you can 4 motors for around $20.00. Although I used nuts and bolts instead of cotter pins. I like your idea using the deer motor for the cauldron instead of the wiper motor.
Wow. Great tutorial! This is the beginning of an awesome RUclips channel! Liked and subscribed! Merci! In the future i would recommend the Amazon links amd i think you could make a small commission on the purchase of your viewers.
Thank you! My sister just told me I should be including those links and getting commissions. I’m so new to this I have no idea what I’m doing as far as RUclips channel. I have a pretty good idea of what I’m doing when I’m making stuff. I just posted a new video of all of my creation so far. And I’m hoping to start making videos as I’m making these projects to help other people out.
Did u make the upper body rigid? My witch’s upper body is not rigidly connected to the hip bone (bar) using T joint. I havent glued the T joint to make it rigid which is causing the upper body to rotate downwards thereby losing stability.
I actually ended up changing that bracket because it was kind of heavy to one that I got At Lowe’s in the plumbing section. It’s the same bracket that I used up on the neck motion. There is another video that I put together after this one that’s on my channel that has all the measurements for the body and all of the information on what I bought in the video also in comments there should be links.
It’s a PVC pipe cutter. they kinda look like pliers but they are ratcheted and made for cutting small PVC pipes. Irwin-Tools - Ratchet Hand Action PVC Pipe Cutter for 1.5 in Pipe Outer Diameter www.amazon.com/dp/B08WPX1J7B/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_VW4461ZQ4MPPP5H0DYHD?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Did you have any problems with the motor in the cauldron? I see others using the Monster Guts, but i would like to avoid spending that much on a motor. Thank You.
I have not had any issues. The only difference is that it moves at a slower speed and I’m ok with that. Now, if you are planning on adding anything more than what I have here, such as a plate on top like some have done, you might need a stronger motor.
Yep, I’m just getting started and figuring things out as I go. I’m sure they will improve as I’m learning. I didn’t really have any intention of having a RUclips channel except so many people are asking me for info and tutorials so most of these that I have posted were after the fact. In the future I will be taking video of my builds.
This Is the one that I got but it was only about 20 bucks when I got it three years ago. I do see some other 16 inch Cauldrons on Amazon for about $24 so you might want to check those out.Union United Solutions 55160 Cauldron, 16", Black www.amazon.com/dp/B01158PC62/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_2QBKHJ0HHB2HK4VEKGVR
I got it from Amazon several years ago. It is a 16 inch and I believe they still carry it but it’s like $50 now. It wasn’t that expensive when I bought it.
It was actually a post on a Halloween group that Prompted me to post this here. Which was a start of this channel. I do have a picture that has all of the measurements for the body. Are you on any of the Halloween Facebook groups by any chance?
I think I may have found you on Halloween DIY. It has a picture with a big eyeball on the page cover. I put a comment on your photo shoot picture. I hope that you. If you search my name on that site you will find the info on the witch.
@@kellysdiyhalloweencreation8382 Whoa! I don't know why I never received a notification for this reply. I was just getting ready to purchase the motor needed for this and came back to the video for a refresher. Sorry, that isn't me on Halloween DIY and I don't have Facebook. (gasp!) Can you link the photo you are referencing?

Glad you liked it! Thanks for following and your comment!
Thanks for showing this. I am a creative person with great detail but I am NOT a mechanical person at all and this may help.
I wasn’t either, it was my first build.
Thank you! I built one! Live this video!
Thanks and you’re welcome! 😃

Did you posted the pvc cut dimensions anywhere?
Only starting at the 6:29 mark of the video. You can pause it and screenshot all the dimensions or write them down.

I used screws at the hips to keep it from collapsing. That way I can unscrew to break down to store.
Where did you get your bracket for the stirring?

You need to post links and descriptions.

Do you mind sharing the dimensions or your cauldron and where you got it? I'm having a hard time finding a reasonably priced large cauldron.
It is a 16 inch Cauldron that I got from Amazon.
