The light in my gourdo went out. How can I fix that?
I was going to buy this prop, but the one at my local Spirit was broken already, so I passed on it. That's an easy fix. Teflon O-rings last longer. I used to fix VCR and tape deck belts; putting belt dressing on them makes them last much longer and resists getting a "set" in them. You could also try a robotics & scientific supplier to get special sized drive belts and pulleys.

@@maniac1628 It's basically a belt conditioning fluid that makes the belt more pliable, keeps it from slipping, and makes it last longer. The automotive stuff is in a spray can. The electronics stuff is usually in a small bottle that you apply with cotton swabs.
My bug blender stops popping up occasionally, i cant tell if it is the belt or another issue, it works normally, but when i use it a few times in a row it has problems
Do you know where I can get replacement gears? The double 10/40 gear has two broken teeth. I’ve ordered two kits off Amazon but no luck. It’s slightly different than the 40102B that I’m finding everywhere
How do you repair the lights ? Mine went out the first time i put it out.. Every thing else works but the lights

My Gourdo had the belt issue when it would not go all the way down but dr zombie was able to repair it and send it back to me

Did the display already break?
Ya, the first Gourdo broke on the 1st try, the other one lasted maybe 5 days going constantly on sensor because the step pad mode doesn't work.

Have you seen the motors go bad?
The Rubber Belts seem cheap and I think that's one of the main reasons they snap off so quickly.
It's really weird.. the only times I've seen a belt break is on Spirit Halloween stuff
my Gourdos belt wore out the day before Halloween had to leave him static I didn’t get the replacement belt till after Halloween

The relay switch for the release mech isn't working then, you'll have to see if it's broke contact pieces, not being hit properly or a loose wire if it's none of that it would be a board issue
Ok I had to replace the shaft pulley and it started after that. Maybe too big of pulley?
The lights on mine worked when i first bought it, but now do not work. i opened it up and found a loose wire but dont know where it goes . could you be of any help?

How do I get him to reset faster?
I just replace the plastic shaft piece and that make it reset faster. The one that's in it is to thin .
