That's a pretty cool prop. I don't ever remember seeing that. Nice job

I can see the problem, but I offer an alternative. Instead of fixing it, when it starts jittering back and forth have a speaker activate that plays music, I recommend "getting jiggy with it" by Will Smith. In all seriousness, I am glad you got it working. It would be a shame to lose such a great looking prop.

He’s also supposed to open up his arms and his head is supposed to look up at you instead of looking down. It’s a common little issue with these guys, I would simply open up his arms after every activation to see if eventually that does the trick. I also own the same rising animatronic as well, He’s from Home Depot 2017 & 2018. If you search up on RUclips “Home Depot Halloween 2017 Rising Evil Entity” you’ll see how he fully works and you’ll know what I’m talking about the opening of the arms & head which is what yours is not doing. Once again it’s nothing mechanical, you don’t have to take apart the gear box or nothing to fix that issue, you just have to be opening up his arms the moment he starts to rise up. The motor sound is normal, it’s loud and annoying but that’s how they all are, just make sure you have his volume turned all the way up while he’s on, so you don’t hear that loud motor noise. I truly love this guy so much, he’s one of my favorite Rising animatronics! I do have a video of how mines works on my channel, the video is just from 5 years ago, til this day he’s still working like a champ!

Just keep an eye on all of the hanging strips of cloth. During one windy Halloween, somehow the strips got tangled up (probably around the frame or something) and it was just enough to fight the mechanism from properly rising, causing the motor to burn out. Kept the reaper around since everything else still works on him. Maybe one day I will change out the motor or modify it just enough to create something new.
