Dumpster diver!!! Too funny how its a small world. Did you make any goals for the year? I know you say they always go sideways. I decided to do a make 9. I set a goal of 50 dresses so I dont feel overwhelmed with the number. I have 7/50 done already.Thinking i might need to put it on Instagram to keep me accountable. I would love a tutorial on the casserole carrier. You need lots of patterns for project dress a girl patterns to inspire me to get my butt in gear for sewing. Have you tried the new pattern for project dress a girl from Mari? Sunday is gonna be a day of sewing.

I love the journal you made with the white and black fabric is awesome!!!. I usually work making bullet journal but I haven't really decorated them. Maybe I'll give I shot.l I have to admit, I'm not crazy about needing to worry about the measurements, ahhhh. I'll let you know because I should be done with the one I have maybe by february. I've been very bad about jotting down, what I need to do because I have neglected my to do listsl. :-0.

Sorry I missed the live. I was late out of work so you were done by the time I got to the live. Merry Christmas!! Will you have a live on the 27th? I'll be in Portland but I will try and make it. I've already shopped and shipped fabric to Portland. It was all fabric not available at the local Joann's so I had to order it and that's the story I'm sticking to.

I also think the hand stitched rolled hem is cool! I have always disliked hemming by hand because it usually looked terrible, crooked and uneven. So, I’ve started forcing myself to hem by hand and I am improving, but a rolled hem. I don’t know about that 😄 I just finished working on corner bookmarks to give as gifts. Then, the plan is to make some headbands. It will be a first. I love pecan pie🤩

Hello, everyone! I am still horribly sick, I think I’m over Covid, but I am having an asthma attack that will probably last for weeks. Taking meds and inhalers and nebulizer treatment, but unfortunately they are not working very well, yet. I am have a hard time watching while coughing my head off. Hi, Shari, so sorry, I fell asleep during your live show. I have been trying to fix one of my sewing machines, it broke down last weekend, I need that machine for quilting so I had to fix it. I finally got it fixed Friday, so I was horribly tired. That machine is heavy! I did watch this morning. 😂

Yes, 100% agree with you. Good call removing the middle waist band pieces. They really do make this dress look maternity. I've sewn this dress for two friends so far -- one pregnant and one not. I wish I had removed the middle waist band for the non-pregnant pal! All well. I am about to sew this pattern a third time and will add pockets into the skirt side seems. As well, instead of using the inner collar and V-neck panels, I just sewed a full lining, since my fabric was a very thin cotton. This helped prevent my dresses being see-through too.
