The embroidery is just stunning,Luba! The delicate, intricate workmanship is incredible. It would be a horrible shame if that tradition was not preserved. The dresses are beautiful on those precious little girls. I think it’s absolutely wicked what Putin is doing to the Ukraine. Thank you for trying to keep hope alive for those children and their families.

@@sbrickett the embroidery is just gorgeous, you are right Sue. There were lots of pictures, I think I repeated a few by accident but they are special pictures❤️.

Thank you so much. See how just asking someone a question can snowball into so much help for those in need? Amazing. Praying for those friends in the Ukraine who need our prayers.

Poignant video. The DAGW UK ambassador has just sent off boxes of dresses etc to Ukraine which is great. I make dresses mostly for 6, 8 and 10 year olds because i know there are fewer made, (although Mari received more larger ones this year than last year I think). It was heartbreaking to hear that there is little need for the under 5’s. Lovely photographs! Well done Luba and friends.

I think it is important for people to see where their donations went.
That is amazing that you are participating in the project now matter where you are in the world. ❤
I think a lot of times dress sizes are dictated to the amount of fabric people have which sometimes means smaller sizes. Thank you for watching and commenting ❤❤

I used to live in NS and know several quilters/sewists. None of them knew about the program so I passed along your contact info.Might be an idea to send a letter to the quilt guilds in the province. It could be read at a meeting. Nice video.
