Unfortunately, you didn't get the best of the original figures, such as rain or diesel or bolder, i think you would've been more happier with the other stuff in the sets if you would've got those ones instead of the craptastic four and Rucker and condor, I don't hate those 6 figures but in my opinion I don't think those ones represent the original figures the best...

I grew up getting The Corps in the mid 90s and I absolutely liked them more than G.I. Joes. I just really liked the detail of the later figures. I had a few from the 1980s and early 90s too and a lot of the vehicles. I love how they've gone even harder with the sculpt details.

The 2018 Scotty was the only one close enough to the classic 1974. I have the OG 1974 Mego

In the 90s, here in Argentina, this collection was rebranded as "Piratas del Caribe" (Pirates of the Caribbean) and distributed as a new product by an argentinian toy company. Today I suppose was a repackaging of an old excedent of "The Magnificent...".

The sculpt on the kirks is the same, but the colors are off. The uniforms on the originals are way better

Mego did a revision on the Bones McCoy. If you would've contacted Mego they would have sent you a new McCoy body with the corrected skin tone.

I have to say I rather like the vintage figures better. The new Scotty and Bones McCoy are terrible looking. The new Kirk, however, is fantastic. Unfortunately the uniforms are so inconsistent in the new figures. I wish Mego would re release them all in updated versions with updated uniforms. Im not sure why Checkov has Brown hair 🤔 The bad thing is that the phaser and communicator are placed on the belt in reverse and the newer figures should have the color updated equipment. Checkov and Sulu are based after the cartoon show. The new phasers handles are too skinny and just fall out of the hands. The new bandless bodies suck by the way. Damn your treatment of these figures is truly disturbing.

I agree that Mindy does look like Pam Dawber but if I saw it as a stand alone my first guess would've been Marie Osmond.

My first action figure was an Action Jackson back in 1972 , i had a few of them, i lived in New Jersey then we moved back to Puerto Rico snd it was very hard to get Action Jackson, so i kept collecting GI JOE and my younger brother Big Jim.

Gumby is the first rubber, bendable figure but there was other materials like fabric example 1920s Mickey Mouse dolls

I love how years later they ended up releasing Gumby, in a whole bunch of different colors and one of them is blue and is basically an exact replica of this figure

The likeness of Takei and Konig in the new models are easily more accurate than the old Shatner and Nimoy models. The newer Doohan one is excellent.

I had the '74 Mego Star Trek figures as a kid. Loved them,! Loved the Apes, loved the DC & Marvel Heroes as well. The Star Trek figures (aside from Lt Uhura) were cohesive.... they matched! This new wave looks like three different toy companies made action figures and branded them Mego.

They've had muppet babies, sesame Street muppet babies, silly symphonies babies and Looney tunes babies
