I bought the Friedman Friday 12- 13-24 returned it 12-16-24. It sounds great into a computer. I however put it through a carvin Ts 100 a mesa dual rec(into fx loop) and a solid state class a/b power amp. it sounds like TRASH through a cab. no matter what I did.

What I find interesting, I bought a Monoprice Indio 66 Classic V2 for $ 75 over Thanksgiving weekend as a preowned that sounds every bit as good as either of these guitars.After tweaking the set up on a $ 129.99 guitar it was as playable as any guitar I've ever handled. There were a couple of cosmetic flaws the Monoprice had that once corrected, were hidden by plastic covers for plug & drill that nobody can see as cosmetic flaw corrections. What a deal that guitar turned out to be. Minor tweaks (truss rod adjustment and saddle post height lowered) to the set up as well and the string action is just about as low as any custom shop could ever get without fret buzzing. The Chinese obscure brands have easily caught up with the best name brands of the industry. China is just crushing it for quality even. Is there a reason to buy a guitar beyond $ 100-500 ?

Bolt on necks unfinished feel great to play, and I love the clarity and presence of the CE24, guess I know what I'm buying in the new year \m/

what guitar is used & pick-ups?

Not alot of differences to justify price differences, Indonesian made guitars are taking over. Unless you're a professional of stage, you don't need U.S made guitars and it's not making you money.

Great video man, I got to try one of these guitars yesterday and I was blown away. Not only does it sound amazing but it is a very comfortable guitar to play.

hi ive used amplitube 5 alot....i have been using the rosen and ownhammer IRs instead of stock and the sound is over 400 per cent better,also use the boss graphic eq in front of the amps and turn the lowest bass slider down a hair and crank up the gain,,,,add a tiny bit of rack reverb and the rhythm sounds are perfect

The only reason I like the USA one is for the look, they are beautiful. For playing the SE suits me fine.

Cmon,the playing ,and the song are so good,how can you tell the difference? The player would have to tell us what the playability is,man that is really fine music

I own both and can say that Amplitube is short on gain even with both Volume I and Lead Drive being cranked.

For the charvel hss models with pick guards are the pick guard setups interchangeable with the fender hss strats?

Via RUclips it’s difficult to tell the tonal differences, but when split the SE does sound a tad thinner. Enough to justify the price difference ? Probably not. That being said, every SE I own has been modified from stock because after the honeymoon period is over I start to notice issues. Sometimes it’s just a new switch or output jack. Other times it’s a bridge rebuild, new capacitors or locking tuners. With my Core PRS guitars I never need to change a thing.

Did you program the drums or is this from the sound library? I’ve been wanting to try GGD out but I don’t know much about them in general. If it has a decent sound library I’m interested but if you get a program every single little thing you want to sound good I think I’m out. Any good presets? I’m concentrated on workflow even though I’ll be tracking because I’ve got some health problems that might not keep me on this planet for much longer and I gotta get some stuff released

More definition from a US model. Tone is livelier. I'd be interested how the se feels in hands though as it's probably where the main difference is. Or there isn't any 😅 Nice comparison, well done that.

I have the Schecter Solo ii, it’s a nice guitar.. I’ve been looking at the ESP…. How does the ESP neck feel compared to the Schecter? Similar? Wider? Flatter?

Juggernaut hands down, would have been awesome to hear the neck pickup on clean.

I want to get a set for my gibson sg does the set have 4 pots and a function for them all. Im worried about not being able to use all 4 knobs

I think I prefer the Amplitube version, I think that if you threw a screamer in front of it with some proper compression then some well placed EQ with a decent set of IR's you'd be better off than with the Neural version.

Both are amazing. Moderns have a bit of extra clarity, classic a bit more of that fuzzy “warmth”.

I got an IR-X recently. I honestly was hoping it wasn't as good as people said, but it was. Made me re-rig my whole board and size it up significantly to accommodate it. So good. If I have to run the V4 into a power amp sim to get close results, that's a losing proposition IMO. It's all about live use for me and that extra power amp sim takes up size and space (or DSP). I did think the two sounded comparable in your setup though. I agree the metal tones you got were a bit better in the V4.

I just bought it in Black Cherry because of YOU! I'll get it Friday,,,

here in canada the price is almost like 2000$ difference, I would say US ce24 is more beautiful than Se's but for sound and playability they are almost the same😂. For a beginner like me, I'll pick the SE for practicality. tbh im writing this comment while listening and I can't tell the difference. 😂 better save that 2k for upgrade,quality amp and pedals🤘🏻😂

I've got both in my Les Paul. Polymath in the neck and Nailbomb in the bridge. To my ear, the Nailbomb has a little bit more bite and is also slightly darker than the Polymath which makes it great for bridge leads.

Juggernaut seem to be a mix of both Aftermath has less treble more of that mid range snarl and polymaths are def brighter and clearer i feel like for recording polymaths take it , if youre just looking for that beautiful chug aftermaths if you want an all rounder juggs

By far the best video I saw on RUclips if it gets to a guitar comparison. Well structured. Pleasant, calm and very professional performance. I bought a CE yesterday, mainly because of the budget but I own another PRS SE since 9 years and therefore I know that a low price for PRS SE don’t means low quality. They are all play different but excellent. But in the end it’s always personal preference and how big your wallet is 😅 And now I will take a look at more vids from you during the awful long waiting for the delivery of my new CE 😊 Have a great weekend and don’t forget to Rock’n Roll

Great playing and dig the creativity of the songwriting! From this end, they sound very similar. The question is...the difference in feel to the player.

Both great but I do prefer the Charvel, the sound may be a bit thinner but definetely more articulate, and that is smth precious, especially with high gain. just my opinion, great video \m/

what was the signal chain? Amp, cabinet and etc.

For me the juggernaut takes it. Juggs polymaths/silo and then aftermath. The juggs had a unique sound to it that helped it stand out but not be obnoxious. The polymath was similar but had a more string clarity tone, just didnt fit this style of music. Noticeably weaker less punch. The silos sound great like prototypical pickups you want to cut through and fit the mix. The aftermaths are good but i dont feel like they excelled at anything. When they sounded good the other pickups sounded as good if not better
