@@aliciateixeira-i1s I’m so so so sorry, I just went through this with my first ferret, Weasel. He has lymphoma and insulinoma. In his last few days he went down hill so fast and to be honest watching it just broke me. You’re right, it’s not like other animals, seeing them deteriorate is crushing. I’s your ferret on prednislone for his insulinoma? If not or even if so, it sounds like he’s crashing or his blood sugar is low, you can rub kyro syrup or any syrup or honey on his gums to try and get his levels back right, and if he’s not drinking you can give him unflavored Pedialyte to keep him hydrated until you can get him to a vet. I would also try to make sure he’s eating, if he won’t eat you can give him Carnivore care (amzn.to/47Ei0Yo) you can get it from Amazon but unfortunately I’ve never seen it in stores, you can also try Gerbers Chicken baby food. But because ferrets imprint on their food and are so picky you may need to syringe feed give him or give him water or Pedialyte with a syringe, just try not to shoot it directly down his throat, I always syringe feed from the side of their mouth when I have to do it, you want to avoid fluid getting in their lungs and causing aspiration phenomenon. I’m definitely not a vet, but these are things I’ve done or have been recommended to me by my vet or other ferret owners to keep them comfortable and as well as can be until they can be seen by a vet. @@FerretTails it's hard to watch, yes he's on two meds and his second implant for adrenal, do you think it's painful? I have been feeding hand feeding more often and offering water. I do have the supplement for him, do you think I need to give it to him at this point?

@@hesterengelbrecht3755 I have one that my husband has to hold while I trim because he won’t eat any kind of treat/salmon oil and he’s only a year old so he has more energy than sense sometimes 😂

That’s great! There are definitely lots of different ways to add a strap. This was the first time I made the bag and now that I’ve made several more I have definitely tweaked how I make them.

@@FerretTails mine is always trying to communicate with me. Every two weeks I will lift up my mattress to vacuum cuz that's his fur cave. LOL He has 3 beds and other things I pick them up , right after I vacuum he comes in the bedroom and sit by one at a time his BELONGINGS when I put it back he will run to the next one and look at me. I took a bed that the only time he went in it was the day I bought it, all afternoon. So I got it and showed it to someone it in another room and he was sleeping in another room, it might of been a minute or two he comes running in and jumps right in it. Calming it all afternoon again but has not been in it since then. Gotta love em, beautiful pets 💯❤️

@@aliciateixeira-i1s I used pickled ferret juice, which is a treat oil that made up of is salmon oil, and emu oil. There’s no pickles in it. That’s just the name. I’m not sure why the seller calls it that 😂 but a lot of owners also use regular salmon oil www.etsy.com/shop/PickledferretsParlor?ref=yr_purchases

@@FerretTails THANKS, I hate to scruff but need to when I trim his nails considering I'm at the vet once a month I trim on second week then I have the vet trim and clean ears when we go. I hate to scruff cuz it seems like he loses his eye sight which he does on and off even when we don't. He loves Salmon oil, he's being treated for insulinoma and he's coming to a point where he does not want to eat a lot so with the a little salmon oil and hand feeding he gets enough. I love my fur ball angel, it's weird that his eye sight comes and goes, he makes my heart bleed HEAVY 😢. Never thought I would love something so small so much and I've had A LOT of pets. People will tell me that I treat him like if he was my child and I tell them to go get one for yourself and talk to me in a month or so and they will be talking differently about that. I’m so sorry about your baby. I sadly understand so much what you’re going through. I just went through the same thing with my oldest, Weasel. He passed on July 6. His lymphoma spread and the only thing I could do was let him go so he didn’t suffer, but whenever he would get moments of excitement and energy, it would just make my heart smile. His his sister Lucy just got diagnosed with insulinoma and she has an implant for adrenal disease so she’s also slowing down a lot now too. It’s really hard to watch them age, it’s heartbreaking.

@@FerretTailsit is hard watching him age, he was diagnosed a year and a half ago with a time line of give or take 6 months and look he is a trooper. I give him 2 meds twice a day and the vet said we can up his meds still 2 more times. We go to the vet every month. He's on his second implant for adrenal disease. Never knew they are expensive pets but worth it

@@aliciateixeira-i1s they are definitely not an inexpensive pet, but I definitely agree, they’re 100% worth it! Lucy is in kind of a similar situation where we still are able to up her medication if it starts to not work. she was only diagnosed about two months ago, and for the most part she’s still acting a lot like her normal self, but I do see her slowing down a little, but she’s a trooper too! I hope your baby stays stable and you get lots more time with him 🥰
