Hi I have a question so I did a C and p exam for my back. The provider doing the exam requested an x ray then the results from the x ray showed scoliosis and curvature. I was denied the claim for back pain. Is there a way I can request another c and p exam or is there anything else I can do? Would you recommend a higher level review? Or anything else?

Of course they want to get rid of more VA employees. They made a bill to push Vets away from the VA system into the "for profit" INS based system where they can easily gouge prices and get lobby money, this takes away funding from the VA system, so now to make up for it they need to get rid of more staff and make the system even worse for Vets, pushing them even further into the Private system instead of making the VA system better.

USO are no longer letting Vets and Disable Vets use their facility.

I receive a survey almost every appointment I have. This is what happens when you enact legislation and don’t fully fund it. The PACT Act, not fully funded (Initial $300 million, nothing after that), CC, not funded, Here is what will happen, the new Admin will declare the VA can’t meet Veterans needs, so let outsource it to private insurers. Let’s see if I am right. What is considered a “Bad employee” by those who want to rid the VA of them? There are already performance metrics, evaluations, etc. if this is solely based on the budget shortfall, ask your Representative why they don’t raise the red flag on the monthly reports from the CBO, and OMB, it was predicted months before it was public. I am still waiting for published policies, otherwise it’s just lip service.

So people who hate on the VA will prefer being on Medicaid?? You’d have to be dumb as a fuckin rock to think this is a good idea.

Veterans need the VA!

As I watched this video Clay, I pulled this up on my laptop 💻 and couldn't get to the dashboard. Is it that I have to get the monthly subscription to get to the dashboard??? I opted for the "free" subscription.

I had an appointment with my PCP on January 3rd, I brought up FSAD secondary to PTSD due to MST, sciatica, shin splints, foot pain, hip pain, and ankle pain secondary to my knee injury. But there isn't anything updated in my care summaries and notes on My HealtheVet. Should I send a message so I can start filing my claims? I already have ratings for PTSD and knee injury. I thought I had to have a diagnosis for each issue before submitting claims.

The budget burst at the seams after expanding the CITC program for many reasons. They had to hire tons of liaisons and administrators to go between the VA and private doctors offices. They then had a hiring freeze on medical providers which made the need for CITC worse. Private doctors were found to be gouging prices on devices and implants, and specialists were seeing patients ever 3-4 months even though they weren't doing anything for the vets. They could have been released back to PCP for refills but the private specialists saw a cash cow and kept milking it. Still happening right now. I say spend money on hiring good doctors and fire bad employees so we can have competent and efficient care. This will reduce the reliance on the failing CITC program. Leave it to vets who live in the boonies instead of using it to cover for long wait times. We can reduce wait times with good management and adequate staff

The VAMC I go to needs a good house cleaning. They have more doctors that do not see patients than do. They are top heavy with leadership and only care when their next meal is. I'm so tired of my VA

Good Lord! I don’t need 5 receptionists (debating over best vacation spots) to check me in at the VA (when I’m the only Vet in line..) or 3 Nurses to prep me for a colonoscopy…They can start cutting there…

I'm 100% P&T who has applied for VR&E but unless I'm missing something I should be eligible for this 12 month GIBill extension. I did active duty from 1996-2000, was recalled to active duty in 2003 for OEF/OIF then years later reenlisted to the ARMY National Guard. If I do become eligible for this extension, I hope that I can get approved for VR&E in schooling to take advantage of the BAH benefit as well. Fingers 🤞 as nothing is written in stone with the VA until you get those decision letters.

The Va has been cutting care

What don’t people understand that outside care as a whole will cost more. Community care is important but is not the end all. Privatization would not be a money saver, but more of a way for the government to cut ties with vets. Beginning stages.

The congress used to pass 2 or 3 continuing resolutions each year before they passed an actual budget. Last year congress did not pass a budget. They passed a series of CRs which set a very bad precendent. Very distressing. As if they got away with it once most likely it will become the norm.

While this may be true it’s only available to a very limited range of veterans.

They cut our benefits they’re going to see why them founding fathers gave us them 2a rights 😂😂 they gonna face a country of Luigi’s 😂

President Musk is going to privatize all of the VA healthcare. They will use the money they save in order to give the wealthy a fat tax cut. This should not be surprising because that's what you voted for when you swallowed all of the MAGA BS.

This will be a disaster. You already can’t get into community care on a timely basis. In Ga , they have built VA community clinics everywhere. In my opinion, they should add an urgent care component to some of these clinics

People who think private care will be 'better' haven't had to deal with doctors refusing to take patients on medicaid / medicare because they have too much paperwork overhead and low payments. Same as home sellers who won't sell to VA home loan borrowers because it's too big of a hassle. So you shut the VA health care down, send everybody to private care, and then discover your private doctor won't see you. Good luck with that.

For nearly three years we have been paying all of the Ukrainian pensioners pensions. Yet we continue to short falls in our own budgets. Hmmmmmm.....
