A change can be made to ANY rating IF a mistake was made, or was claimed was awuired under fraud! Period!

I was just into VA CPAP clinic the other day, and was informed I was doing great, and almost within medical standards at night, and that I was originally diagnosed as moderate. Long to short, after seeing all these vids about the changes, I'm guessing that if I place a new claim in for SMC-S ( a new claim can cause a new review of past claims. jeopardizing ones current %), I'd get down graded for sleep apnia, and loose my 100P%T. (Sigh) as I'm home bound and need extra support. BUT, I have learned there are two programs that I think are not within the compensation area (effecting comp) that the VA might provide under request and approval guidelines. Though there are a few vids out there, Maybe something you and others should look at to make vids for us all. VA Care Giver program (family member and not family in home stay), and the Veteran-Directed Care.

Have you ever thought about that someone (meaning u) with knowledge and veteran relationships should maybe 🤔 try to be the next VA DIRECTOR or at least in the future. ....NO SERIOUSLY

Clay, Is submitting a secondary claim for PTSD the same as submitting a claim for a higher PTSD rating? I submitted an "Intent to File" in April 2024. I don't want to risk my PTSD rating if that's the case. Also, will submitting any new claim (not secondary claims) allow the VA re-rate my prior claims? I've only been rated for two-years.

Clay, could you please help us on the medication aspect? You and others who cover these subjects have been talking about the VA possibly saying that if you’re already rated, but you’re taking medication and your medication has improved your symptoms that that could give them cause to go after our ratings by lowering them? Do you have any opinion or knowledge on the subject? I did hear you speak about it earlier and I take it very seriously. Thank you so so much, I know sometimes we don’t agree on everything but I really appreciate your hard work research and analysis. Thank you. 👏👏

Hey Clay I have been told that when I call into the VA and ask a question about one of my claims in progress that it will actually delay the claim an additional 30 days just by them submitting a question. Is that True ?

I disagree on your assertion that you have to have "evidence from service" if you're saying that a condition has to be documented while you were in service. I have two ratings with no in-service evidence. I just wrote statements about when it was and based on my MOS for one of them and going through jump school for the other. Also, it was more than 30 years ago when the occurred. I did have to get an IMO for one of them and go to HLR but it was eventually awarded. If I misinterpreted what you meant than forgive me.

It is pointless to worry about this because it will never happen... Project 2025 is a pipe dream of a conservative think tank... No current Presidential candidate supports it... it isn't going to happen because none of the think tank members have any power to employ it... It is not supported nor was it created for or by Trump... Trump didn't know about it until they started claiming he was behind it... To reiterate, Trump isn't behind this... It is more misinformation by the Left... Trump has his project 47... which is on his political website...

Here’s a nugget for any of you guys that did the war in ‘03. I told my doc I would not use a CPAP device as it gave me flashbacks to when we were in full MOP gear and sleeping in our task masks. Your nexus is your dates of service for that time period. It cannot be refuted. Want help making it work for you? Go to mental health and tell them how it felt to be in full MOP for days on end and sleeping in it. Be descriptive and don’t embellish. It’ll help your claim especially if you were there.

For those of you worried about this, try not to. This project 2025 is a foundations proposal. It is not set in stone, and changes can still be made. Donald trump has bashed the foundation and the proposal several times, please do your research. Shame on everyone here for bashing trump and saying he's behind this, it didnt take but 30 minutes of research to conclude trump does not support the project as well as voting for him would nore than likely keep this from moving forward. Everyone here should be able to vote for either side that can help give them the life they are after, going the absolute left or right is a horrible way to vote and think. Lastly for anyone reading this please hear me out, if you vote trump i can almost guarantee you an improved VA in terms of streamlined care, everytime a republican gets in office the VA is held accountable (more so) and workflow is inproved but still not perfect mind you. Also, know that trump is our best way of the choices we have, in order to get a significant pay increase for our compensation yearly moving forward until the end of the term. Thanks guys and gals!

Combat Craig and Dwight are okay ....being Vets....but they push the sign up right out the gate too much for me Make sure you have documentation on hand in case some civi decides to try and push your buttons. Long as you file the disagreement within the 30 days window when ..if....they mail a reduction letter , and are ready to fight them .... I am on Dr Sharmas wait list, and i have another way to get a private IMO and DBQ too so i will be ready for that BS if it comes down the pike. In the mean time, there is a senorita in Costa Rica that has a treatment program too.....im going to sign up for that here soon....

You always say what the Va is supposed to do. They don't, that's why HLR are always filed. I filed for hemorrhoids and gerd march 2024 and was just awarded service connection July 2024. I received 0% for hemorrhoids, which I thought the minimum is 10% ans I received a 10 % for gerd.you have too much faith in the Doing th right thing
