A lot of naive pākehā commenting on here "WhAt AbOuT ThEiR MaRaE!?", I bet none of you have been on one. Life is complicated. Marae aren't the be all, end all for Māori. A lot of us become estranged from our Iwi, Hapu and Whānau for a long time for many different reasons in life (shout out to the pākehā who drove us off our land in the fIrst place). And sometimes our marae don't want us back. And kaumatua in particular, don't want to be a burden, especially on their whānau, so they "suffer in silence", like they said in the video. Sad man, this goes beyond just te ao māori as well.

There is talk by this young Maori activist about the lack of education around te tiriti That it is Maori's ideal is to to have self determination in governing this land. A separation of everything; Education, Judicial system, Health system etc. To be left alone to make their own way in many, if not all, aspects of life here in New Zealand. In short to be completely separate and distinct from all the other ethnicities living within New Zealand. Correct me if I am wrong. Maori want to be known as the first among many people groups of New Zealand. To be seen and to have preeminence and preference. over the 160 ethnicities that now live here. That Maori have more rights than any other people groups because they were the first to these shores. This means that Maori should have the first slice of the cake in everything. To have the major say and to have the final say in any decision made as to what happens in the every day life of all peoples that live here ...Now. Are you still with me. Maori want their culture and way of life to be the predominant way of life for all New Zealanders. They want Maoritanga and the speaking of te reo to be embraced by everyone that live here. People are here by invitation and therefore all other people groups would have to follow Tikanga and the Maori way of doing things. Is this what Maori want? Correct me if I am wrong.

What do they mean 'the computer can't generate what you're asking'? Open a word document, anything, MANUALLY type out a receipt. Done. Unless you're employing illiterate people that only know how to answer calls, SURELY you could AT LEAST do that. I hope this creates a ripple effect and TLC go under. What a terrible business and a great example of what happens when a company has too much power (pun unintended). I'm assuming there is no other option for her in her area otherwise who would actively choose to sign to TLC.

I descend from Tuhura one of the original signers of the treaty. Implicated in Carl Sylvius Volkners death. Runanga records prove that Mokena Kohere and Ropata Wahawaha were present at that hui. Tuhura only admitted to killing Todd. It was Tuhuras boundary that the crown cut off. Te Aukati boundary. Te Kooti and Rewi Maniapoto were trying to save the remnants of the original Maori Native Land Court and they were trying to access this boundary.
