I want to acknowledge my mother who has since passed. But she was abused in state care. She was a survivor. And she would of been here to tautoko other survivors. RIL Mum🙏👊
Tēnā koutou tāngata kaha, tāngata manawanui, tāngata taonga. Aroha nui ki a koutou. I'm so sad that this apology wasn't what it should have been and is so hollow and that we don't see lessons truly learned or anywhere near enough acknowledgement of all the reasons why abuse continued, was covered up, wasn't believed. There ARE reasons. A coward can't truly deliver an apology and some of those you have had to deal with are cowards. Aroha to all survivors and may we always remember those who did not survive. Moe mai rā. So many of us see you, I hope you feel our aroha. Me aroha ki te tāngata whaikaha. Me aroha ki te tāngata takatāpui. Me aroha ki te tāngata whenua. Me aroha ki te tāngata o Te Moana-nui-a-Kiwa. Me aroha ki te tamariki. Me aroha ki te tāngata.
The well funded Maori Media CEO's & Managers & Board Members completely failing to inform our people at this crucial time, will be replaced. This is beyond hopeless, giving the abusers of our tamariki a pass and zero investigative work on the Atlas Network and all the others attacking us that we all know about.
Feels like a PR stunt to me & in no way am I trying to dismiss that some folks will get something out of this gesture. But it feels like a ploy to get some positive PR locally & internationally
Arohamai, and they are still doing it! To our most vulnerable 😢❤
Look after them yourself & won't get taken into care
@@granabiss_ stay Blessed ❤ sounds like you need it 🙏 will pray for you
