Other country's hate us. Lol
That’s a great shot
Gave me flashbacks to teaching my daughter when she was 8. She has now joined the army and is an excellent shot.
Good job kiddo.
not a bad shot, i hit a 50p from 375 yards using iron sights on a sa80, it was that good of a shot it got implemented into army sniper training if you can hit a coin from 375 yards no scope you can hit anything with a scope.
I dont know if this is great or bad, mostly bad I think, kids should not be grown up with guns
It’s your opinion and you’re entitled to it, I am of the belief that no matter what my children are going to be around firearms their entire life. I’m trying my best as a father to instill a certain level of respect for guns and understanding how to use them safely by implementing the fundamentals of marksmanship and firearm safety at a young age. I’m not saying I’m right, but the best way I know how to keep them safe is to be in charge of them learning about firearms.
MERICA...
NICE SHOT!!!!!
Rifle?
Something to tell his friends at school 👍👍
This is how you raise them. Good job dad
And that’s how he became an assassin 😅
490 thousand dollar gun good job buddy
😂😂😂😂
Dumb
That's freaking awesome love it
Old barrel was just fine, but a bore scope would tell the truth. New barrel won't settle probably until 200ish rounds.
I figure 1,600 is a good enough time to swap out barrels.
@@shanebell9589 was it getting hard to clean? Flyers? Velocity drop? My wife has 3100 on her 6.5 creed and just won the Accushot challenge at our last match. I think people would be surprised how much more life a barrel has. How long is your barrel? Could you cut off the chamber and rechamber it? Sometimes I go with a 30 inch barrel for this reason....cut and rechamber....now it is a 26". Great way to get another full life out of a barrel.
@@NBKmediaPRSit’s just been shooting large in my opinion, and I already had the spare barrel so I figured I’d do a side by side comparison. While the new barrel did shoot a bit better, I believe my problem is more with ammo than barrel. I know I haven’t been annealing like I should, that’s probably my biggest issue. Not like I can run a box of factory loads for comparison. I will break out some new brass and see how that groups
@shanebell9589 I started annealing last year. GAME CHANGER. Hope everything gets sorted for ya.
First shots on the barrel. Just keep shootin
criky Shane ya shootin like a skatter gun hehehhehee ,,, 3 inch group at 1000 yds is pretty cool ol mate well done
I hate shooting groups, at 100 yards anyway
That's no good. But you will do some load development. I wouldn't shoot with your bipod set up that way either needs to be steadier lower to the ground and vertical you are getting too much bounce.
Bipod was not helping your correct there. The accutac on the 6 gt likes the legs out like that, but not so much on the atlas
What rifle set up is that?
What about head space?
It’s a precision prefit check it with a go/no go gauge and send it 👌
Every prefit from SPR ive put on a Kelbly has been spot on, stopped checking sick of renting go no go gauge s
Coolest thing that I have seen all week! Keep em at it & teach him right!
Thanks! Will do!
See the problem is the green, if it was red it would work just fine! 😂
You know it!👌
Interesting to see the difference in the 2 barrels
Ya, I thought so Looking back on the video now, what’re you’re really comparing here is an “optimized load” that shoots poorly on a worn out barrel and an unoptimized load shooting better out of a new barrel. I think it shows the potential in the new barrel for sure.
That smile says it all he’s hooked
You’re 100% right there
Nice setup and walk thru. Subbed.
Awesome, thank you!
But HeaDShOts are UNeThiCal
DUH
not a bad entry level gun at all.
I’m glad you think so too!
You sounded intelligent and then you said.....ANYWAYS. Word is anyway. Street punk talk.
I’ll have you know that the syntax in which I speak is, and always will remain, flawless 👌 Anyways, thanks for watching! Like share and subscribe! Street punk OOOUUTTT🤘
Lmfao, what!? Edit: @ kwikshooter1 you sounded intelligent, then you spelled your name kwikshooter when the word is quickshooter 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Is this real life?
Only thing budget about that is the bipod.
You can only get so cheap and maintain consistent 1moa performance
Got some Berger 105 VLD Target bullets in last week, so I ran to the range to test them in my 1:7 twist Shilen 6mm creedmoor build. First 3 shot group was less than .10” at 100. Decided I didn’t need to waste any more components until I can get to a range longer than 100. Amazing cartridge.
The 105’s are sooooo forgiving I’ve yet to find any 6mm rifle that I have that doesn’t shoot the 105’s well! They’re for sure sweet👌🏻
Hypothetical situation here: Nice meat buck standing 340 yds away broadside. Do you dial the yardage or holdover? Do you head shoot or high shoulder it? By the way, you guys are the more prepared hunters than 95% of the people trying to harvest a deer.
Not hypothetical, that happened last week! 😂🤣 Shane and I usually dial. We’ve thought about putting the hunting content on the channel, I’ve got some sweet trigger cam headshot footage but RUclips’s weird about that stuff. I know other people post that stuff but with the terms and conditions I’m not sure how they pull it off
Like Derick said, I always range, dial, then wait for the right moment. Always headshots ranging from 200-500 yards. Some will say it’s not ethical, but showing up with the most accurate rifle is the most ethical I say. Derick always says caliber is no substitute for shot placement. Also, headshots waste no meat
It cracks me up that anything Creedmoor is all this new hype when the .243 Winchester or 6mm Rem is nearly the same thing but with no new manufacturers support.
You don’t understand how this whole situation works do you…..
@BuckingFastard I totally do understand. 👍
243 win and 6 rem cartridges can absolutely perform the same as a 6 creed. The old designed just suffer from lack of freebore, a slow twist, low BC bullets and need a custom magazine for a longer OAL. 7 PRC vs 7 rem mag commercial loadings for example are apples and oranges with the PRC able to load long slender high BC bullets.
@andyjonathan2486 right. It's similar to the 6.5CM hype. A .260 Rem is virtually the same thing, it even has a performance advantage. You can't tell people that they have made improvements on an old cartridge and are now making the firearms differently so they are better when you can rebrand it as something new. I have heard some arguments the the .260 won't work in a AR action, yet as a reloader I know you can very safely seat a bullet about it's diameter past the throat of the brass with no accuracy issues, so I bet it would. At the same time AR actions are now made to accommodate 300 WM's.
I think the biggest benefit I see in the newer cartridges is the ability to utilize the new heavy and high BC bullets. From my knowledge that’s the limiting factor in the older cartridges
headshot's are the least ethical shot on a deer
I’ve never had one run away on me and I can’t imagine they feel a thing. The meat is also more tender without that adrenaline dump happening sooooo🤷♂️
Not a bad thing to just give us scope cam footage, but if you could had used a different audio source that would have been great. The audio from that scope cam when racking the bolt is atrocious.
Thanks for the feedback! The video needs higher quality audio, noted!
Those are some huge plates. Ray Charles could hit them
How big do you think the 888 yard target is?
Thank you 😊
You're welcome 😊
Another great video guys... I'm surprised Shane had the spare minute to get some shooting time in... He could have been replacing those toasted bearings in the potato polisher...🤷🤣 That was nice some shooting on the spinner Shane...👍👍
Hahahahhahahahah too freaking funny!
Much better choice than replacing bearings I’d say hahah.
Wounded deer you idiot!! The jaw is not a drop shot.... Go back to uour video games junior....
Nice mate ✌️
Thanks for engaging with the channel I really appreciate the comments!
you guys impress me to no end , thank you
Awesome to hear that!
What velocity are you getting with the factory ammo?
3050 FPS
Good vid mate mate, nice shooting using the hold over, footage was fine mate so was the format, cheers Yogi ✌️🇦🇺
Thanks man!
These guys are idiots. A silencer isn't "chambered" in anything. WTF. I'm for as many people having guns (and cans) as possible, but I'm also in favor of people having 1/2 a clue what they're talking about. Idiocracy was a documentary and this is proof.
Words have meanings and you’re ABSOLUTELY correct suppressors aren’t “chambered” but I believe the rest of our viewership understood that this was a suppressor designed to handle the 338 lapua despite the “exactness” of the words we said. This “idiot” sincerely apologizes for the confusion I’ve caused you!
Nice job.
Thanks for watching!
Which caliber is chambered for the rifle in this video? I must have missed it.
It’s a 6.5 Creedmoor
@@averageshot I suspected but wasn't sure. Thank you.
Welll done you two…💪💪, But i use a Remington 700 VSSF Heavy Barrel, 22.250…pumpkins are full of seeds, drill hole in top, fill with water!! Use varmint 50 grain ballistic tip ammo… they destroy them!!!…Due to the bullet exploding on impact!!💥💥🥰🥰🤘🤘🤘
Molly 😍 Hottie with a shotty! 😅 (I know this isn’t a shotgun, 😄)
I liked the use of the drone. Great fun😊 Great video.👍 Quite a switch from driving tractors.!!
I was gonna ask what caliber. Then decided to do what you had taken the effort to do and went to the links. 😂 good video.
Hahahah 😂 Glad I could help!
Good times!
It was a great day to be out shooting!
