Awesome Shootin' guys!!! Love to see you guys on Eric's channel!! Shane a very good shooter, he just gets it done! Glad Molly said to checkout your channel!!!
@averageshot that 6 dasher looks like a good round 4 long range low recoil and u can see your hits and miss..I have a hard time doing that with 7prc ..u need to get ahold of Erik c and do the 500 yard challenge here in texas ....he's in.south texas
I can make out the 10 and the 12”, i wouldn’t even bother trying to clean it open sights. Unless you could manage the first 3 plates, then keep your aim point the same and dial your windage over, my 2 cents
Sooooo it’s been a topic of discussion here on the farm and an experiment we will conduct. Round peep rear and round front sights are the way to go (not sure if that’s the proper term) the human eye can supposedly see 1 MOA at 500 yards. I know with the naked eye I can at least see the 8” plate out there. I feel like I can see the 6” but I’m not sure if that’s only cuz I know it’s there or because I’m actually seeing it but it’s freaking small!. Here’s how you’d do it though. Take aim at the 12” plate, impact aim at 10, impact aim at 8, impact Now…. If you can see 6” plate aim at it but if you can’t see it, dial the rear peeps windage to shift impact over to the next plate. So take aim at the 8” plate but you’ve dialed your impact over to the 6” plate. After you e made that impact continue aiming at the 8” plate and dial more windage to now shift the impact from the 6” to the 4” plate. Proceed with this approach until all targets are hit. I think you stand the best chance of impacting the 2” plate if you can see and aim at the 6” plate. But no matter what you do that 2” plate is gonna be tough!
@@averageshot That sounds good on paper. I think you need to duplicate Eric's setup on the 2", it looks like it has twice as much gap between it and the 4" where he had that 2nd 2" out there as a backup for awhile, for when one flew off. His, in general looks a little more gapped than your set up. That 2", that wind??
Its the weather boys, at eric's place its mostly hotter weather plus wind is a issue as well,, so mirage plays into it ,but if you have a good scope then thats not a problem right especially with mil dot type recitals. 🦘🦘👍👌✌, plus why not try it with Erics blackjack challenge then if your so confident, plus try it with iron sights, you can win 5K if you hot every single target and i do not think eric will say anything if you do it backwards as well? 🦘🦘👍👌✌
Love this channel. You both are above average by a far site. the heat trace is cool for sure
Much appreciated! Thanks for the awesome response! It’s good to know we engage well with our audience and provide good content!

We hope to be visiting Erik Cortinas channel someday
I have never taken a shot over 100 yds. You guys make it look easy.
There’s a lot to it but once you start investigating and understanding how it all works you realize it’s pretty simple. Not easy but relatively simple
The trace is awesome!
Yes it is sir! Nice shooting that day! Freaking incredible stuff all around!
Way better than average
Thanks! At least this time around haha

Once clearing the rack you should have went back to the 2” for the rest of the shots……that would have been impressive.
🤣😂gotchya
Vous devriez aller essayer le kyl chez Eric Cortina👍
Shane and I hope we get a chance to do that!
That tan rifle need some higher rings lol
For those talking open sights, how much of that can you even see with the naked eye at 500 yds ??

I’m gonna set up a 6dasher with open sights I think and give it the old college try on the channel at some point
We should modify our rack so it’s an exact duplicate of his, good call!
You might be a good shooter if you practice some
Just average is fine for me haha
If your cold bore shot is right on the two inch, would be the one to start with.the rest would be easier.
Awesome 😊❤️🇺🇸
Thank you kindly!
