First time to print and try to piece together all the parts of this. It is 30 pages😮😮 I think this may be the hardest part. As you can tell i have never made clothes before but I am a quilter. This looks like a great project to start with if i can get the pattern put together 😢 any help with this?

I just found your videos and I just want to say that you’re the kind of woman that I’m just SO drawn to! I don’t know how to explain it- just creative and following your own path and inspiring! I’m a mother of 3 and this is what I want to show my kids. That I still have my own stuff outside of motherhood; especially stuff that I’m excited about. So happy to have found you. My only fabric store option that is local is hobby lobby. I live in a really small town and there is a Joanna's about 45 mins away, but any other fabric store is 3 hours away. I have trifted most of my fabric because I can get fabric for $1 a yard and all my thrift stores (I have 4 within 30 mins) have great fabric sections. I also hate pants so most of what I make is dresses. I want to make some leggings to wear with my dresses in the winter. I'm very tall and have long legs so it's hard to find leggings that are long enough.

After not using my sewing machine for 10 years this is the first piece of clothing I ever made! I used a thrifted tablecloth and because I had leftover fabric I decided to line it and create 4 tiers. Sweat and stress but your instructions were so clear and it turned out so nice, I feel like a princess wearing it :) thank you!!

How often do you change your rotary cutter blade?

If you’re in between sizes I would definitely recommend going with the larger size and then tailoring areas that are too large! Definitely much easier to take in what’s too large than try to add in fabric where it’s too small. And definitely sew a mock up to test the fit. I didn’t believe in that originally until I recently tried it and was amazed the difference it made in the final fit! I was able to make changes to the pattern so it fit my body exactly. Love this series!

Working through this pattern - love the instructions. I think I'm going to make 5 more of these! Do you think we can get away with 2.5 yards for this top or do you need 3 yards fully (with sleeves) for a size 8? The peplum seems to take up quite a bit of fabric. I have 2.5 yards each of my fave fabrics for my next project, but may not have enough! Could you please advise? Thanks!

I'm reading the 'A Natural History of Dragons: A memoir of Lady Trent' series right now & I'm loving it.

I didn't know about the layers, that's so useful! But I still have a question. I used acrobat to print (as I always do) but this time the pattern just seems to still be to small. There is a printer test of 25cm but no matter what I change, I still only get 24cm when putting it together. I checked 1000 times but did everything like described in the instructions and it still won't fit. 😢 Does anybody know what could be wrong? I scaled it to 100% as I always do. Printer is from brother.

Gosh, I don't know how many times I've watched this video. I'm just starting my second vest, and it's so helpful to review each step ahead before I jump in. I'm so happy with vest number 1, and here's to vest number 2!

LLove this information, the only thing I have, but don't use is the bias tape maker. I found thatI don't like how the lines don't line up when sewing,, so I make my own bias tape stitch the first right sides together then fold and iron on th egarment.

Your kids thinking your hobbies are boring is SENDING me

Can anyone answer this Q, at 11:06 my zipper with tabs is the correct length, however it doesn’t fit like hers. I can’t line it up in the middle then the sides because then there is too much fabric between the 2( hopefully that makes sense) the only thing I can think to do is lengthen the zipper tabs. Tho I’m not sure why this issue is happening. I’ve checked my body fabric against the pattern and it is still the cut out size. Not stretched or anything. Any help?
