Such lovely pieces and so many Long Dog samplers! I have several in my to-do pile, but never thought is using isolated motifs! I'm afraid I couldn't see your inserted pictures near the end, either. The first one that didn't display was the miniature chair. Would love to see it and the others but I'll bet it would be easier to compile a short montage of those pics in a separate video than to edit and re-upload this one. Re your non-square / almost square piece, what about making it into a pillow instead of framing it? Cheers and wishes for continued good health and lots of stitching.

LIsa, I love your videos. I wear progressives on a regular basis but what I do for stitching is I bought "progressive readers" on Amazon. They are cheap and come in packs of 3 usually. I wear 2.25 with my prescription glasses but when I stitch I have the 2.75 and the 3.0 progressive readers...so when I watch RUclips I can see that with the progressive readers, then I use GoodNotes for the pattern and I can see that easily, then my stitching when I look down I can see that too. Love them. Hope this helps:)

you need prisms in your glass scription to steady eyes. I got a pair did wonders for the eyes. love your shows!

Also that another Alberta yarn company, Polka Dot Creek, has just opened a second location in Cochrane. Next time you're in Cochrane, check them out! I love all your stitching and really appreciate the shout-outs. I've found so many great flosstubers to watch that way.

I've just started that "Strawberry Fields" piece myself. One day I'll be brave enough to attempt a LongDog. Lovely pieces.

I have not seen the lighthouse one by anyone else and yours looks amazing!!! Love watching that one expand with us as we end the year out! It geekie looking but when I can’t do use my magnifying big wands. While wearing my glasses, I put a pair of cheaters on the end of my nose. I took a project to the store and picked a cheater glasses that allowed me to see me the holes. This allows me to look up and see over the glasses at the end of my nose to see through the top of my main glasses. The geekiest look for sure!

I really like magni clips for magnification. They clip on your regular glasses, come in various strengths and you can look up and watch tv.

Hi Lisa. Love all these projects. Makes me want to try a Mira. My friend has done many to include Red and the Mermaids you’re going to start one day. I wonder if it’s been called to your attention that when you say you’ll insert a picture of whatever the subject is, more often than not they don’t appear. I’ve noticed this in the last few videos. Also sometimes the speed of your words aren’t in sync with your lips. I would’ve emailed you instead of putting in the comments, but no email address is in your description box. Hope this helps. Hi Lisa…I too am doing Quinto Acuto. I started it in May of this year. I was working on it periodically but on August 2 this year I lost my mom and this piece has been my salvation. It has helped conquer my stress on those hard days when I miss her so much. I have been working on it pretty steady and I only have the last five pages of the pattern to do. I can’t wait to get it framed as this will always hold a special place in my heart. Linda from Woodstock Ontario.
