Love your WIPS - stitching and knitting. Sorry to hear about your hands … I had a period of some arthritis starting in my hands (I’m lucky it has decreased with a change in job). I found the wax bath they do at some nail places for hand softening was really comforting. It didn’t last for ages but it was nice for a few days!

I’m sorry you weren’t well and took so long to feel better. All of your projects are amazing.

All of your wips are absolutely gorgeous!!!! I especially love the blackbird pieces your are working on- seeing your monthly blocks makes me want to start that one as well! I have had similar issues with my hands. Due to my mg, there are days where i lose control of my hands, so i cant grip the needle and have trouble pulling the floss thru or fastening the tail in the back. And its disconcerting bc i have SO many designs i want to start, and wips on the go, but my body just wont let me stitch as fast as my mind wants me to! I try and remain positive- im super grateful im able to stitch at all, but its my one passion and i cant imagine losing my ability to do it. All i can do is take lots of breaks and do what i can when i can, right?! Your ffo's are STUNNING! happy stitching lisa!🐈‍⬛🪡❤️

I was so glad to come across your update. It has been awhile and I was worried you weren’t well. Glad it was just a cold. I understand your hand pain as I also suffer from arthritis. Variety in activities certainly helps. Praying that your pain eases. Have fun at Stitch North with your mom. I also share my love of stitching with my mom. We did several quilt retreats together and had such fun. We’ll take care of yourself and stitch on. 🩷🤗

(this is terri, and i'm stitching Stained Glass Lighthouse with you) i really enjoyed your pictures and videos at the end. we love Vancouver Island, and have been to Tofino a couple of times. Did you make it to the Tacofino food truck? I hope it's still there (fingers crossed). We were last there in september 2019, and stayed at MIddle Beach Lodge. we also spent some time in Victoria, and of course i recognized that you got to Butchart Gardens - the dahlias and the fuchsias are amazing that time of year. now that we live a bit closer we're planning a trip for later next spring! take care, terri

Love your video Lisa. I finished your winter cardinal pattern! It's a gift for my niece this Christmas. My sewing room flooded so I can't get my hands on the pattern and may have the name wrong but enjoyed the stitch. Love that you and Paolo are knitting. Best wishes.

We were just in Tofino the first week of October -love it. We will go again! Good for you being able to knit with your hands hurting. I’ve had three surgeries on my hands and with one hand found the only thing I could do was wind yarn and use a knitting machine to make stocking caps.😂 (well, besides shopping on line for cross stitch)

Lisa you look so beautiful and happy and your new hair looks so cute, I love it. I can see that you are living and loving life to its fullest. You and Paolo look so happy together. Beautiful pictures and videos at the end. I always enjoy seeing all your vacation pictures and videos. You live in such a beautiful country. I would love to travel to Canada someday. Your cross stitch pieces you are working on are amazing. I absolutely love your Mirabila you are working on and your knitting is amazing. What you have made does not look like you are a beginner. I’ve been wanting to learn how to knit for a while but I am afraid to try and start. My mom tried teaching me when I was like 12 or 13. I kept dropping stitches and she would make me tear it all out and start over. I finally just gave up. I think that if she would have had a little more patience with me I might have stuck to it. I think that is where my fear is coming from now. I think it is so cute that Paolo is learning to knit with you. My husband would never do any kind of stitch or craft. Hi Lisa, So good to see you again. Loved the photo montage at the end. What a beautiful Island. I would so love to visit one day. I am so sorry about your hands. How awful! I have some arthritis in my one hand and it can be a problem for holding. things, so I get it. I'm sure others understand that as well, but to keep you from stitching - well that is harsh.. I am glad you have knitting as an alternative. The yarn warms your hands as well, I am sure. I have to agree with another stitcher below and say that the cowl and mittens you took on as a project are not beginner level stitching, And you have done so well. You have inspired me. I will have to try some of these type of projects. I also very much enjoyed your insert of smalls gifts. How very beautiful they are. What. do you stuff your pillow with? For pin cushions, my mom always said sawdust was the best. I will have to find me a source. Your finishes are always so colorful and beautiful as well. Thanks so much for sharing. You are an inspiration to me.

The beautiful projects you have chosen and completed are not what I would consider "beginner" projects, and you have done beautiful work.
